earlier today i caught a glimpse of ‘good at being bad’ in my suggestions and i thiknk that’s the first time it really fully fucking hit me. this man was integral to ah. he is seeped into everything they’ve done since he was hired. i don’t know if they will ever be able to fully rid themselves of him. it’s a disease that cannot be wiped out. even if they take down any videos with him in them (which. i don’t think they can do, feasibly and from a business standpoint. thousands of hours of footage, just gone? i don’t know if that’s possible for them)- but even if they do that, what about the videos that he’s not in physically, but his presence is there? when they pan over his desk? when they show the knife stuck in the wall? they’ll never be able to play cloudberry kingdom again without him hanging over their heads like a fucking plague. the dozens, hundreds of pieces of merch baring his name, his face, his silhouette- what the fuck are they going to do? i’m just. so angry. i’m so fucking furious that he did this, that he was this, and that he got away with it for so long. i think i hate him.

Not to love Ray 'Brownman' Narvaez Jr on main side-blog but...

-points at Ray- he is constantly greatful and considers himself lucky to be able to make a living wage as a streamer and often says he has no idea what he would have done of he hadn't been hired by RT & met Tina. Honestly who knows what he's be doing.

He often says he doesn't really have any skills. I mean, he even talks down his gaming skills (alot and it annoys me) also he say how achievement hunting is stupid hobby.

-grabs ray by the sholders- don't down play your skills idoit, you are most certainly above average in gaming skills (y'all have seen those Ray dominating the rest of AH at games comps, right?) Even if you arent an amazing speed runner or some big shot competitive eSports player, Being good alot lots of diffrent games and being able to commendate at the same time is not something all people can do.

AH has talked about how guests are often surprised on how hard it is to focus on a games, listen to 3 - 5 other people make jokes and make jokes of your own. And while that isn't excatly what Ray does now, he did it and the past, and now days he has to interact with chat instead.

ALSO just because gaming is not a traditional skill (or a traditional way to apply skills) doesnt mean you don't put in alot of hard work and are amazing at your job.

Not to mention all the behind the scenes stuff (I know he gets alot of help from Tina and I love to fun of him for that) but Lord knows Ray puts alot of work in planning for streams. From what games to play and keeping up with new releases, having strong connections and commuicating with his mods, organise events and planning milestones rewards, to even manging technical difficulties which can be even harder when U are working live.

And I know Tina does alot of the store work, but I'm sure Ray helps with designs, talking to and researching products and manufacturers. And like, Ray (and Tina) hand package and ship all orders. Like, their store is huge, and growing. They have added so many new products recently.

Honestly, I'm interested to see if Fram Rate will produce merch for streamers other than Ray (for example like some of Ray's mods and steamer friends) Like when he made the mover from Fan Fiber to calling it Frame Rate merch I assumed that's where is was going. A whole bunch of streamers merch on one store. I'm surprised it hasn't happend. But I guess when I think about it, his set up now doesnt reflect that idea (like the monthly ray themed trading cards) and I can imagine it me hard to start packaging others merch yourself, unless others just sold on the store and did their own manufacturing/packaging.

Anyways, a little rant I typed out in one message and when I hit send discord wouldn't send it cos it was over 2000 character.

EDIT: While sending and captioning this post to send in my servers, I remember that I have heard Ray admit on stream once that he has depression. That would 100% contribute to his constant negative self talk, self deprecating jokes and how he puts down his skills and achievements. But honestly, Ray deserves to feel extra proud of himself for accomplishing everything he has dispite his limitions. And by extension has even worked hard then the 'averge' person would have had to get achieve what has has and that makes Ray even more amazing.

TLDR Ray is amazing and hard worker he need to stop playing down of his own skills in an piss poor attempt to be humble.
