I was just thinking about how Hunter tells Gus "the weekends [in the Emperor's Coven] were nice" because he "got to leave the castle for missions." Hm. Really recontextualizes how cheerful and excited he was as the Golden Guard in Separate Tides and Hunting Palismen... because it was the only time he got to do stuff and see other people outside the castle :(

Ah yes I think we all needed a reminder that Belos is, at his core, just a Puritan witch hunter from the 1600s

That scene where Luz tells Hunter that he's family absolutely destroyed me because he just started sobbing so quickly... like it only took two seconds for him to just audibly break down from Luz letting him know that they all care about him?? And my dude doesn't even take his mask off, just looks away at first and then puts his whole face and mask into his hands like he's trying to hide it. Man that choice for him to keep his mask on was sooo well executed, I mean you can pretty much feel the emotions he's going through just by his body language and the amazing voice acting (I mean those wavering gasps at the beginning as he tries to hold back tears, and then the sniffs at the end??). You can just tell that he's been holding it in for so long and then the stress of thinking Belos is back + the emotion of the moment and he just immediately breaks down. Ouch.

Crying over the fact that Cody ASKED for Crosshair to be on his squad... and then the questioning about TBB leaving and about clones questioning the Empire and if what they're doing is right... he was testing Crosshair... he was probably already considering deserting and just wanted to see if Crosshair would come with him. Of course the "then they're traitors, like the Jedi" and Crosshair executing the Governor forced Cody to realize that he had to leave Crosshair behind. And remember how close TBB and Cody were in TCW and that the creators said that Cody was the one that got TBB off Kamino. I feel like Cody feels like he has to look out for Crosshair so seeing that he's loyal to the Empire and wouldn't go with him probably hurt a ton... "we have to live with our choices" indeed... </3
