RTX what I did
Ok so on wed. All the guardians that showed up did bag stuffing. Which was fun, I got to meet a few people on my team. Barbara was hanging with a few of us. Then on Thursday the real fun begins. The only gaurdians on duty were my team and a few line gaurdians. I got to meet Barbara that day and Caleb. They were super nice and fun to talk to. It was so much fun meeting attendees! Everyone was so excited! On Friday I got promoted to VIP and Special Gust booth. That day was a little more stressful, because we were having some small complications with some of the badges. I met a few people and that was reeeally cool. I also had the SideQuest silent auction, I met a few staff members. Like Josh Flanagan and Chris. But what was even more fun was I made a lot of friends, and had a really funny moment with Greg miller. Then on Saturday I was on lost and found and info desk. (That was a different kind of stress, but a nice change in pace) I also got to meet Cotter and Kent to! It was a lot of fun talking to you both. (Sorry I was so busy OTL) But through the stress my favorite part about working the info desk was that I also was the one collecting the gifts for everyone! Like I was blown away by how talented everyone was! Someone even gave me art! It was so much fun. I also got to hang out with my roommate a ton and she was super nice. On the last day, the last day was bitter sweet. By this time I was beginning to miss my family a bunch. Austin was nice but I was also missing the green in VA. I was doing regular badges, and it was a little slow. Around noon I was relieved so I could do my shopping before I had to leave and I got to stop by the creatures booth. I'm sure none of yall are suprised that all I did was talk about mead and alcohol with them. I bought a ton I stuff, I even had to check a bag in! The real emotional of it all didn't hit me till I was in the car with my mom and pop. Like this was one of the best experience of my life. I met so many people, I made so many friends, and I'm left RTX feeling more convenient in myself. All and all I was loving every minute of it! I can't wait to go again next year!
