Happy birthday to Ru! Our friendship is old enough to purchase alcohol in a restaurant. (If that were a thing we were doing right now.)

Val and Flora always make me think of the painting by Jack Vettriano, rich and just sort of dancing through life. I’ve been wanting to draw them in some of the clothes in these photos of this amazing Elderly German Couple and now seemed as good a time as any.

Happy birthday to the wonderful Ru! I tried something mildly outside the box so you get a super-simple gif of Fary and Como (and Smushface.) I only just now remembered that I originally gave them beverages so Fary’s could be coffee and Como’s could be some sugar-laden, whipped topping explosion. Oops.
