How do you figure hair works for MU residents?

I have my one ideas on it but before I get into it I want to say I was inspired by @tropinui with the hair!

But to answer your question: I think it would work very similarly to normal hair but each strand if hair being thicker due to it being synthetic. Probably grows much slower and is less likely to tangle, and not everyone has it or can get it. I've drawn some of my characters that have hair without masks as a exercise for maskless faces and to figure out where the hair can originate from.

Hordikafied the Toa Faxon!

Occam: Based on Boars, groundhogs and other small rodents.

Sava: Based on Frilled lizards and Butterflies.

Ruakae: Based on Sea serpents, Barracudas, and Seals.

Mahki: Based on Parrots and other tropical birds.

Craxon: Based on Snakes, Lions, and Foxes.

Ruakae?

Ruakae, a Ga-matoran/Toa of water, shes from one of the southernmost islands in the matoran universe, and is thought of as the crazy one on her island due to her visions of the future, regardless if it has anything to do with her or not, regardless she's learned to hide this power. But she became A Toa from one of a few Toa stones that Occam hid there a while back. A past incident when she was a matoran caused her to be partially frozen in ice and had to be rescued, causing the discoloration in parts of her armor and once a Toa, the ability to freeze/thaw water and ice. She wears a powerless kanohi as a Toa, since her original mask was cracked, and out of the Toa Faxon is just about the only one, of the other new Toas, to have any common sense.

Ruakae, the Toa of water, handy with her spear and knife and even handier with her element. She hails from one of the southernmost islands and is one of the most responsible, caring and strongwilled of the Toa Faxon. A past incident when she was a matoran caused her to be partially frozen in ice and had to be rescued, causing the discoloration in parts of her armor and the ability to freeze/thaw water and ice. She wears a powerless kanohi, and despite her great power and setbacks, she has a long way to go before becoming a true Toa.
