RUBOTS IN DC!

So, for those of you that know me irl- you know that April and May have been really rough for me and my family. I’m pleased to say it’s turned around. We are no longer homeless, and I got to go see Rupaul’s Drag Race: Battle of the Seasons!

My loving cousin got me a ticket, so I can go with a friend. I was so excited. I had already been keeping up with the tour via social media, so I had a small idea of what to expect. I was a little nervous, honestly. I wanted to look nice, but I was broke. I ended up wearing a sassy navy outfit with smoky eyes. I actually liked my outfit.

As for the show, it was sooo good! I only have one issue. I wish it didn’t end. It was a great mix of music, comedy and glamour! I laughed. I danced. I cried. This post is getting kind of long, so I’m not going to break down the whole show in this post.

However, I would like to say.... I fucking met Phi Phi O’hara, who by the way has an amazing voice. I was so nervous, but she was soo kind She even talked to me for a few minutes, and gave me a big hug! I thought my heart was going to fall out of my chest! It was a perfect bow on a present of a night. I saw Ginger and Adore out there, too. I didn’t get to talk to them, though.

Can I just say that Drag Queens bring me all the life. The art, the style & the men behind the painted face is why I’m here. Got to go to Rupaul’s battle of the seasons last Friday & in awh. Completely bummed that I can’t go to Drag Con but that may be a great thing cuz, I’d probably pass out a lot & sit in the floor in awe of it all.
