Spending half of his night fighting for a blanket he ended up losing anyways made him a bit grumpy, who can blame him -- He’s glaring at his girlfriend as she enters the kitchen, and if you look closely, you might see one or two circle under his single, red eye. Lids remained closed, back facing towards her, as he tried not to stir at her voice. Yes, he had things he needed to get up and do as Glen, but he was still vaguely tired and wanting to bask in the warmth of a shared bed. ( Especially because it was her. ) There was mischief in her voice, and it wasn’t long before he felt her fingers trailing down his bare back and up again to make small circles on his shoulders. As much as he may like, Levi could not stop the shiver that ran up his spine at her actions.
Lids open as he rolls over to face her, lilac hues holding hints of amusement and fondness as he reaches out to brush her cheek with slender fingers.
“If I were able to be awoken by such a beautiful sight every morning, I would not mind.”
“You should play with my hair some more…” [ wooooooooah ]

A chuckle leaves his lips as he takes his fingers and traces the contours of her face, stopping at her lips as he leans closer and offers a chaste kiss to her forehead. ( There’s a lingering hint of salt. )
“Should I?”
He’s obviously teasing her, but his hand reaches for her corvine tresses as he intertwines his fingers in the softness that almost rivals that of silk. He’s content like this, more so than he knew he should be. ( Constructs and rules be damned. )
“I will take that suggestion to heart.”
“You need to go to bed.”

Lilac eyes are heavy as he sits at his desk, Lacie keeping him some form of company as she finds entertainment within his quarters. He barely registers her words as he signs off on another paper and scribbles a note on the side. He blinks, several seconds later, and takes a moment to actually look at her.
“I’m fine. I’ll go soon.”
He can feel the fog creeping into his mind and clouding his judgement; the result of being awake for several days on barely any sleep. ( Insomnia had decided it would be a wonderful time to flare up. ) A deep sigh escapes his lips as he sets his pen down and runs a hand over his face, lids staying closed long than he would have liked.
“Now sounds soon.”
“I’m so exhausted I don’t feel tired anymore.”
Sleep Deprivation Sentence Starters
Arms wrap around her bare form as he pulls her closer to him, lips gracing her forehead as a chuckle escapes them. “That will fade. You’ll be out like a light in no time.” He takes a deep breath and inhales her scent, savoring the moment as he always does.
Nimble fingers brush against her shoulders in repetitive circular motions as he peers at her with a softness unknown to most others. Even if she says she’s not tired anymore, he can see the evidence that says otherwise.
“You always tend to just nod off after swearing up and down that you’re not tired.”
