the way early suzaku is portrayed as the perfect hero is so so so amazing. he doesn't seem like a normal teenager or the most sane of the bunch but it's hard to see the red flags because we've all been consuming media that tells this is how you become a hero. put others before yourself, save everyone and make change happen through peace instead of violence. but hey! your perfect hero is very fucked up too actually!
