Spotted: Special Summer Edition

I did keep tabs on all of you, of course, but I didn't keep my usual precise eyes on every single one of you. Consider this an abbreviated version of Easton Summer for Dummies. Let's begin with the headlines.

Sebastian Craft, oh my. Where to start with you? Summer's not so fun when you don't spend it on one of your daddy's jets, is it Crab? Who knew that your business could get so big that it outgrew even your control. Yes it's true, Sebastian Craft, son of the owner of the prestigious airline, AirCraft has spent his summer in jail. While Mr. Craft was sitting on a single cot, twiddling his thumbs and keeping a firm grasp on his bar of soap, where was his girlfriend?

Kaylee Shevel, her summer is a mystery to almost all, including me. I've got reports of her landing in most major airports, but nothing after that. Has she reverted back to her partying ways? Also, who sends a hula skirt to a prison? Kaylee hasn't breathed a word of her summer to anyone, not even her closest friends. Arriving on campus late, bleary eyed and hungover isn't the best impression, but it does arouse quite the amount of questions.

But, who better to ask about impressions than Oliver Lovely, who, rumor has it, spent his whole summer pining over one of our quirkiest students. Where did he spend the break? Switzerland, of all places. One can only suspect that such a location was chosen because he was tired of the constant warfare that seems to ravage Easton, and his place of refuge was a little neutral country. How quaint. Welcome to the real world.

And, the girl who was on Oliver's (apparently shrinking) mind, what did she do all summer? Kiki Rosen, rumors have told, spent her summer pretty well everywhere, along with her friend, the awfully quiet and unobtrusive Taylor Bell. That's a change from Taylor's past self, which was loud and well, slutty. Anyways, the two went everywhere, and from the looks of it, while Oliver spent his summer thinking about Kiki, she had her mind on a surfer boy from the Hamptons. I wonder if the words that the two exchanged last year really meant anything?

The last few people to come onto campus that have caught my eye are Ruby Cadwell, Maya St. Claire and Luca Paha. These three seem to just seem best linked together, at least to me, seeing as both Ruby and Luca have a strong dislike for Maya, and Maya appears to think she's better than the two combined. Ruby's come back looking much different, could it be the fact that Maya's cutting words before the break got to her? I mean, if there was a chance that I would be looking like a hick, the first thing that I would do is reinvent myself as well.

Maya St. Claire, I heard that she spent her summer in France. That doesn't interest me as much as the fact that she paraded into Billings and into her room almost as if she owned the place. They say reality is just your own perception, and if she believes she can become queen, I wonder if she'll achieve such a thing.

One thing that she does have for certain however, is a great lacking of the scarily gaunt look that Luca Paha has been flaunting. What happened to Luca over the holidays, and why has she suddenly gone from one of the most stunning girls on campus, to being something that resembles a skeleton? She wasn't very noticeable last year, besides that black eye that she sported for a few days, and had slipped from my radar. Who knows what happened to her? And who'd like to spill the beans?

And then there's the newbies, who've just landed themselves a place on my radar. I wonder if they'll quick up some dust and gather some interesting gossip.

Nick Mayer, he's awfully good looking, and apparently, obsessed with cats. I wonder how long it'll be before some girl snatches him up? My advice to him; keep your relationships close, and your animals closer; they tend to stick around longer, especially for Easton.

Nate Riley, I believe he just arrived last night. I've heard that he's a scholarship, and that he's a nice guy, but other than that, nothing comes up when I hear his name. I certainly hope he proves to be interesting.

Meghan Dawson, she's the tiny blonde who seems to be like someone who's going to get into everyone's way. I've already witnessed her getting trampled out in the courtyard. Either she'll have to stand taller, or prove that she's worthy of my sluggish summer attention, or I'm moving on to different people to watch out for.

Finn Lilley, it appears to me that Maya has already tried to hook her claws into this one. It's been overheard by one of my sources that the two went out for coffee and food together, or at least, were seen together. The best part? His mother is Emma Lilley, the daytime host for CNN. You know the one, the lady with the dark hair and the Polident smile. While she's loud and friendly, her son? I've never seen anyone more awkward. Looks like the genes skipped him over.

Luke Dorsey, is a gorgeous mystery. He's got that interesting accent, and that charming smirk, but who can really tell who he is? I've seen his luggage stamped Shanghai, but the boy looks anything but Asian. If anyone can peer through that cloud of smoke and tell me more about him, I'm dying to know.

Harper Drew, word has it that she's an artist. She seems nice enough, but like all new kids, she seems incredibly starstruck by everything Easton. I think that Harper is our typical story of country girl meets the city, and it's going to be a laugh when she realizes that she's definitely not in Kansas anymore. 

Adam Sawyer, he's the boy with the camera around his neck right? Looking awfully touristy, but attractive nonetheless, this new Easton addition has yet to do anything to catch my eye. I can't wait to see what he does in the next little while, I have high hopes for this one.

And there you have it Easton, your Special Summer Edition of Spotted. I do hope my services were satisfactory, because they really don't feel worth crawling away from my lounge chair to report on all of your scandalous lives.

Blacklight, Party night || Chris&Ruby

Chris just finished talking to Ruby. Apparently there was going to be a party tonight. Some girls from Billings were going to throw it. Ruby asked Chris to go with her and since Jules wasn't going tonight, he accepted the invitation. Chris put his phone onto his desk and walked over to his closet. He dug through, looking for something to wear. His pulled out a random white shirt that had the sleeves ripped off and a pair of his usually worn down jeans. Grove walked back over to his his desk and picked his cell back up, slipping it into his pocket and grabbed a pair of sunglasses. Chris quickly went over to his mirror and messed his hair up. Finally, he grabbed the keys on his nightstand and headed out the door.

Chris walked out of the Ketlar building, went across the path and sat on the bench. He agreed that he would meet Ruby here. Chris pulled out a cigarette and lit it up, taking a couple drags as he waited.
