my aged up au's version of ruby, sheila, jenny, and artur drawn in my english notebook (since i've never drawn them before)

some lore: nate and ruby date in 6th grade, but break up by 7th grade. since they have basically the same friends, they still had to hang out with each other despite being exes. so, even when nate is in a relationship with daphne, by the time 9th grade rolls around (when my au takes place) him and ruby are friends. they just don't talk as often for obvious reasons, and ruby talks to the rest of the main cast a lot more than nate himself.

something similar occurs with sheila and francis - they have a falling out but never officially break up. francis apologizes for this, but compared to nate and ruby, him and sheila become good friends. sheila even helps him get together with gina once high school happens, but that's a whole other can of worms.
