I’m going to attempt to post more on here... Or at least try. I’m not making any promises but I figured I’d post Ruby’s updated ref sheet.

At this point in the furry fandom, I felt it was time to redesign Ruby to reflect how I’d want to be portrayed more. Her color scheme hasn’t changed at all, but you will notice her body type is more “buff”, which makes sense because she likes to hunt and swim in the ocean. She has a bit of healthy chub, though.

The other important thing changed is her lack of head fins. At conventions, I would often get mistaken for a shark or a dragon or species that weren’t remotely close, both from fursuiting and art, so I decided to remove her head fins. Even without other people’s comments, I was growing to not like them as much as I used to. Honestly, I’m glad I removed them because now she looks a lot more orca-like.
