Gemma: “Sophia and Samuel are looking older and older every time I see them!”

Ruby sighs and leans against the kitchen counter-

Ruby: “I know, between that and the gray hairs sprouting on my head I’m really feeling middle-aged.”

Gemma: “We’re just a bunch of old ladies now.”

Ruby: “The only young thing about me is that fact that I’m not married and living with my boyfriend.”

They both laugh-

Gemma: “Yeah, about that- do you ever actually want to get married?”

Ruby: “I don’t really believe that marriage makes anything better... I mean I know Lenny loves me, and I don’t need a ring to prove that. Not that I have anything against people who get married but it’s just not for me.”

Gemma: “You’ve never been one to go with the flow, that I have to say :’)”

Ruby: “Now that, my dear friend, is true.”
