Altercation (Liv Morgan x Ruby Riott x Reader)
People argued. It wasn’t uncommon for there to be minor altercations between wrestlers backstage. You’d seen it back at NXT, on Smackdown, on Raw, and especially at PPVs. There was something about having so many people in one place that got tensions kind of high. You normally didn’t find yourself getting in fights with anybody, but tonight was different.
It was your first night on Raw after becoming a wild card. You hadn’t been on Raw since your debut and now you were supposed to be wrestling Ruby. It was supposed to be a pretty hardcore match, so Liv was nervous about the two of you doing it. Liv had been doting on you at catering and then she went to find Ruby and talk to her. Once Liv had gone, Lana had slid right up next to you and opened her big, stupid mouth.
“It makes sense that she’d leave you so hastily. Ruby is her favorite,” Lana said. “You should really find a woman who treats you right Y/n.”
“Liv and Ruby treat me just fine,” you said and Lana scoffed. “What?”
“Who is she always protecting? Liv doesn’t love you like she does Ruby,” Lana told you. She walked off after that and you sat there, letting your anger simmer for a bit. You did your match and Ruby came out of it with some really bad bruises. So, Liv went with her to medical while you did an interview. Once that was over, you found Lana lurking around a corner. “See? All alone once again.”
“Shut the fuck up,” you hissed at her. Lana didn’t and you got in her face. She shoved you back and before you could get at her, you were being held back and Liv socked her. Ruby pulled you away and Natalya got in between Liv and Lana. Ruby went to get Liv an ice pack for her hand and Liv sat with you. “They’re pretty bruised babe.”
“It’s fine. Are you okay?” Liv asked and you nodded. Liv held you against her and kissed your forehead. “I’m sorry that I wasn’t there to stop her.”
“She only does it when you’re not around,” you said with a chuckle. “I think she’s scared of you.”
“She should be. I might be small, but I’ll knock a bitch out if they lay a hand on my girls,” Liv said and Ruby placed the pack on Liv’s knuckles.
“Sometimes I wish there were two of me so I didn’t have to worry about either of you fighting people,” Ruby said with a sigh. “I swear it’s tiring being the responsible one.”
“That altercation was not either of our faults,” you argued. Ruby let it go and rubbed your back as played with your hair.
