Who wants to know something really interesting/neat about one of our roosters, Ruby?

Well believe it or not Ruby seems to be non-binary and/or genderfluid! 

Unfortunately I don’t have a video of it yet but the reason I say this is because, no joke, he sometimes acts like a hen. He’ll sometimes sit on the ground and start making these hen noises like when hens sit eggs except he doesn’t actually sit on anything. 

Anyways Ruby is pretty clearly non-binary and I think it’s neat cause I feel like people don’t think about the possibility of non-binary animals. I mean I sure as heck didn’t before Ruby started sometimes acting like hen! 

But yeah. Non-binary and gender fluid animals. It’s a thing.

omg I didn’t realize this until days after I took her home but Ruby’s birthday is August 27th and mine is the 31st. It’s fate!!!! So we are Virgo twins and we are going to have joint birthday parties for the rest of our lives because she’s never going to die 🥰
