The best way is to simply say it! Tell him how much you love and appreciate him! Then he’ll know it for sure.

You could also draw him a picture of you and him together or make a collage of his favorite things. Maybe you could write him a letter saying how much you appreciate him, then color and decorate it and give it to him!

If you want alternatives to help you regress fully, I’d suggest doing other calming things instead of smoking. You could listen to gentle music, watch kid shows, color in a coloring book, or other relaxing things!

“Sometimes when I regress, I can be nonverbal. This means that either I can’t talk, or it’s very uncomfortable to talk. I can still communicate in other ways. I’m telling you this because it’s important to me that you know, so you can properly take care of me.”

Hm… This is a tricky one! You could buy it and have it delivered to a trusted friend’s house instead of your own, and have them give you the package. I would only recommend that if you’re sure the friend won’t be sneaky and open the package, and if it’s not something they would open on accident, like a generic box from sites like Amazon.

You could also try ordering a variety of items from sites like Amazon. Open it when you’re alone, but then if anyone asks what you bought, you can show them one of the other new things you got!
