Ruby Schoenheit, Originally Ruby Red was born to two prominent figures in the modeling industry. Her father passed away when she was very young, and her mother remarried to Eric Venue when she was 10. Making Vil her step brother, they're three years apart, although it feels like a larger gap due to the difference in maturity between them.
Vil and Ruby rarely interacted while they were growing up. As by the time they met, he was already deep into his acting career, and spent most of his time outside of their shared home.
Three years into their marriage, around the time Vil went off to Night Raven academy, Ruby's mother passed away. Leaving Ruby alone with Eric. Being concerned for the growing beauty of his stepdaughter, and how it could damage his own sons career, He began demeaning her.
Pointing out every perceived flaw with her appearance(Her dark hair, Her eye color, Her eyebrows, Her height, Her beauty marks, Her round face shape), how her high pitched voice was annoying, how childish she can be. This affected Ruby heavily, leading her unique magic to be... morally questionable at best.
Two years of this before she received an invitation to the Blue Fairy Charm School. She left a note for her step father before running away so she could attend. Hoping for a better life where she'll again be loved.
