"Hello, what brings you to my lair?" the Nightmare King asked as he stepped out of the shadows to confront the new face.
Fiacail glanced down briefly, twiddling her fingers as she hovered before glancing up again with a smile, her wings beating so swiftly that they were practically invisible.
She smoothed her feathers down out of habit, observing the stranger before her, the first thing she’d noticed from the air was the impressive mane of hair the lass had.
The fairy couldn’t help but fly closer, touching a few of the curled strands with a soft giggle, she had always admired folks who had hair, there was so much that could be done with it and all different types, lengths and textures.

The little pixie's softness and fluttering wings were more than intriguing to the Scottish princess--as she had never seen such a creature with hummingbird and human features intertwined. Merida's lips twisted at the fairy's smile and smoothing of vibrantly colored feathers.
"Wot a bonnie lass, ye a're," she remarked, beaming at the lass' curiosity of the wild scarlet locks tethering her scalp. Mollified giggles sent sparks of sunlight up Merida's spine and pooled within her chest warmly. She'd seen various forms of magic, myth, and legend in her short years, but nothing had ever prepared her for the softness of what hovered right before her eyes.
Without much thought, Merida offered her finger to the little creature gently, hoping to get a better view of the colors, textures, and softness.
"D'ya 'ave a name?" she asked, endlessly simpering.
The fairy was flying about after finishing her last collection early that morning, taking some free time for some sight seeing before heading back to the Tooth Palace. While flying through a couple trees she spotted someone down below and landed on a branch, tilting her head curiously before flying a tad closer, wondering why they were out her all alone at such an early hour. Taking a step at wing underfoot snapped and she froze, glancing up before ducking down in hopes she hadn't of been seen.

It was rather early, and though Jack enjoyed spending time with the children, he also enjoyed the quiet peace of the morning. It left him free to concentrate on how he’d decorate the world for everyone when they woke up.
He was contemplating just that when he heard the familliar sound of a mini fairy’s wings. A smile broke over his face as he looked around expecting Baby Tooth to be nearby, though his search returned nothing.
Just when he thought he might have imagined it. he heard a snap, and spun around to see a flicker of green. Letting the wind guide him to the source, he started to call out. “Hey Baby Tooth—” though he cut himself off, seeing the mini fairy wasn’t his close friend.
"Oh…thought you were a different fairy" he addressed the small helper. He gave her a strange look before addressing her again.
"Why are you hiding?"

The young serpent and the little Fairy
Little wingbeats around her, young Qua could hear the movement, and out of the corner of her eye a flash of emerald as something flew past. In an instant, with a flash of silver from her scales, a swift yet gentle movement the tip of her tail was wrapped around the small creature and holding it close enough to see. When Qua noticed it was not just some simple bird she loosened her grip as her eyes widened and she let out a small gasp. "Oh no, I'm sorry little one. Are you alright? I didn't mean to hurt you."

The morning was cool; cooler than he'd have expected it to be this time of year, and as he exhaled softly Nightlight watched the white curls of his warm breath spiral up into the air before him. The sky was stained a majestic array of colours, chasing away the inky darkness of the night. High above, the last of the night's stars faded into the purplish backdrop, and he cast fond eyes up at the faint shadow of the moon. Dawn had come, and with it came the assurance that all was well.
He'd been about to leave, intent on following the shadow of the night across the world when the snapping of a branch caught his attention. Instantly alert, the spectral boy's slender digits tightened around his staff. However, upon recognizing that little flash of colour among the undergrowth, he relaxed his stance. He'd recognize one of Queen Toothiana's fairies anywhere.
Hello, he projected, a warm smile curling at the corners of his lips.

Jackie swung her staff around, watching as the snowflakes seemed to fall out like it was a salt shaker. Her mind blank ,she was incredibly bored seeing as it was now Summer and nobody except the north pole had a need for her snow.”Winter please come back again soon..” She decided this upcoming winter she would make much better than the last. Snowdays everyday.
As she walked through the forest the winter spirit began to slow her walk, hearing a slight sound of fluttering in the breeze. Maybe it was a fly or something? Her ears suddenly perked as she heard a sudden twig snap, looking around. Jackie even turned around in a circle. But nobody was there.”Umm..Is somebody there?” She asked curiously.

The little fairy was flying overhead when she spotted the figure, curious she flew down and hid behind a tree branch, poking her head out a tad before flying up behind them, her wings fluttering rapidly like a hummingbird's "hello?"
[ ➳ ] The vibrant acoustics of the forest almost drowned a mere buzz of wings from a tree branch. The red-headed lass supposed it was a bird of some sorts, as they sheltered themselves within the massive oaks and birches. Her notch was loose in her fingertips from a relieving target practice on her own. It’d been just Angus, herself, and the wilderness ahead. It never seemed to wear on her, as the highlands always had vast adventures to offer. Her gaze was bluntly interrupted by a tiny figure approaching. It’s wings fluttered swiftly, and Merida assumed it was a drannd-eun—a hummingbird of some sorts. It was painted in tints of green, yellow, and pink around the eyes, but it’s contours resembled human features. The little creature was a bit too faultless to be a pixie, but the princess would still keep a weary eye on it’s intentions. It squeaked at her, in the most poignant, endearing of ways. She couldn’t help but grace a smirk after a moment of jolting awe.
”Hello…?” she whispered faintly, staring at the creature with wide blue eyes.
