Your au is amazing, like WOW, Cain just loving his father so much he's willing fight for the crown of Hell to give it to him, just yes!

Also, since Cain resuscitated Adam, does that mean he hasn't fallen? because, honestly, a holy angel on the throne of Hell would be such a look

I would like to also throw in my two cent that guitarhero would probaly be a safe bet since with amdasapple you kind of have to navigate the how Lucifer cuck him twice and then taunt him about it, the whole forbidden fruit thing, also Cain has reasons to hate him and Adam would care a lot about that

Cain is 100% willing to throw hands over his father! He fiercely guards close relationships and Adam is the most important one. That boy came out of hiding after 10,000 years of lying low. All to save his father. The Morningstar’s crown is the best protection he can give to his dad.

But yes, Adam is still a holy angel and Lucifer is malding in a corner! I imagine Adam sitting on a thrown made of swords (spears?) like in Game of Thrones. He’s still sickly but can lift his head and gives off a heavenly glow. Cain is in the background watching to make sure people stay in their lane. Pray for the impudent fools who try to attack haha.

As for the pairing for Adam. Yeah, Adamsapple is harder to work with than Guitarhero in this AU. Adam’s health is the reason why Lucifer is an option at all. It involves how angels can stand being in hell. If you know Made in Abyss you can kind of get an idea. I don’t want to say alot because I’m still not completely sure.

(I have an idea on how Lucifer can make up for what he’s done to Adam in a more cannon setting but I think that has to be in another AU. Or I can give it to the world to play with.)

Guitarhero works because I imagine Michael has interacted with Adam as the Angel of Protection (War?). In this AU Adam would have taken Michael’s place as the head Executioner due to a contract. This contract is extremely important and is the reason why humans even get to go to Hell or Heaven. Michael would be the only angel who understands Adam’s emotional pain in Heaven and does his best to fix the problem. He gains Adam’s respect for that.

I love your new au about cain

I imagine adam used to comfort cain whenever heaven or eve would favor abel more than cain by saying something like this:

"Abel will be the son of eve and heaven, but you, my little star, shall be mine."

Bawww that you very much. I’m glad you like it. I’m genuinely surprised it’s gotten this much attention.

Adam did say things like that at first but found it sent the wrong signals to Cain and Able. If Cain got more of Adam’s attention because Able got Heaven’s attention, then Able gets hurt. ‘It’s not my fault Heaven talks to me! I prefer dad too!’ Able would be the favorite child treated like a doll/slave but nobody sees it that way because he gets nice stuff. Meanwhile Cain is neglected by family members he sees as important. That’s his mother, aunts and uncles yet they won’t even look at him! [Cain cried his heart out when Sera lets the truth slip. Able finds him first.]

Adam did his best to not show favoritism but also make up for Heaven’s obvious preferences. Poor Adam bumbled around since he was the first father. There wasn’t any guide book or history he could draw upon. It caused some animosity between the them until Able matured enough to understand his older brother’s plight. Normal sibling behavior lol.

The thing about Lucifer is that he's the king of Pride, he truly does not think he did anything wrong, he regrets having to face the consequences of his actions, not the action it self, that would require him to consider that he might be wrong, and a Cain is basically the result of his multiple fuck ups, but he's also his son and that will probably make him unsure on how to handle this. Not to mention, Charlie, being Charlie wil probably want to interaction with her estrange brother

Hole in one! You literally got everything. Lucifer is a family man like Adam and will eventually feel drawn towards bringing Cain under the Morningstar name. Problem is, Lucifer cares about Lilith and if there's anyone with more pride then Lucifer it's the Queen of Hell. There's no way she'd stand for Eve's kid in her house. It may not matter if Cain becomes a Morningstar because she'd just throw him right back out. Charlie has always wanted a sibling and is all about talking things out so maybe a 2v1 over Cain.

As far as Cain is concerned it's all harassment! Why can't people just have regular enemy dialogue nowadays?

I really like your au! Honestly, most of the fandom really goes with Charlie and supports her zeal (no judgment, she's the protagonist, so that's fine). But I'm very interested to hear about how Cain is trying to stop the hotel from developing!

Also, if Cain had been a participant in “You Didn’t Know” how would he have behaved while listening to Emily and Charlie? How did he even react to the Exterminations themselves?

I can tell you our boi tries to level the hotel using his magick. He gets faulty information on Lucifer’s whereabouts so the King of Hell appears to soon and starts fighting back. It’s one of the long distance tiffs Lucifer and Cain have.

I’m going to rearrange some established events for the song question :

1. The Adam v Hazbin Hotel never happens.

2. Adam or Lute accidentally kills a hellborn in an Extermination allowing Lucifer to fight. The fight goes as in cannon and Nifty kills Adam.

3. Charlie is called up to Heaven since Adam’s murderer is her responsibility.

As for the song, Cain would need to be invited to Heaven first. Being in Heaven is not the decent trip he was expecting. The angelic court would call him The Bastard Prince of Hell. Nobody would use his real name.

Cain can’t believe Charlie’s horrible court decorum. Sure, he wants to know how souls are sorted but his half sister is picking the wrong fights, pushing the wrong buttons. She’s causing the archangels to get defensive instead of inviting them to cooperate.

When the two girls break out into song Cain accepts that Charlie has ruined his chance to speak his peace. The angelic court is scared. So he counters Charlie and Emily by turning the song back on them. Going from “You Didn’t Know” to “Best be Careful” or perhaps more antagonistically ‘No Means No.’ The two girls lose steam and eventually grit their teeth as he keeps singing.

As for the Exterminations, Cain sees them as completely justified. The reason why he believes that will have to be in a longer post. Sorry 😞 .

From Lucifer, do you mean that Adam use to spend time with Lucifer but when Lilith came into the picture, he got ignore?

Yes. Please note: I'm borrowing from the fandom's head cannon that Lucifer and Adam were friends at some point. Specifically the time between Adam's creation and Lilith's creation. Lucifer is flippant and ended up gravitating towards the newest thing in the garden which was Lilith. This hyper fixation dissolved the friendship Adam and Lucifer had. The First Human didn't understand what emotional pain was because pain was not supposed to exist in the garden. He was not made to process it. Lilith on the other hand was a human 2.0 and had Lucifer explaining everything to her, so she adjusts well and lashes out at Adam for not being able to do the same.

Adam wanted nothing more than for Lucifer to stop ignoring him and apologies for abandoning him. Betraying the loyalty he didn't know he gave the Archangel. The apology never happens and it destroys a portion of Adam's self worth.

Cain a Daddy's boy!

Also, did Lucifer knows that Cain's his son or is he just realized it with the rest of Hell?

Another thing, I get the feeling that if Charlie reveal the fact Sir Pentious is redeemed and is now an angel, Cain would fire back the to be redeem, he got obliterated by holy light so if a sinner want to prove themself 'redeem', they would have to willingly subject themself to potential permanent death

Lucifer didn’t know he had another child but he did know Cain existed through word of mouth. So he finds out Cain is his son with the rest of hell on live TV. He’s in denial for a while before confirming that Cain isn’t some sort of shapeshifter. Also, he may or may not have sent out spies to see where Cain has been hiding.

Cain is stunned that Sir Pentious is in Heaven. The announcement makes him look like a fool after confronting his half sister, dirtied and with his Imp friends. The public's opinion turns in Charlie's favor and she tries to capitalize on this. That's when Cain points out that ‘redemption’ is just another game played by the Morningstars. Probably likens it to Russian Roulette or the Knife Game. 'Was it actually redemption or a consequence unrelated to removing sin?' Unfortunately this mystery drives people towards the Hazbin Hotel instead of away from it. Everyone wants to know the truth and Charlie is easier to get ahold of than Cain.

So Cain takes a risk. He gives a press statement stating there's proof his father is the reason why Sir Pentious got into Heaven and that The Lead Exterminator is alive. News stations devolve into Redeemed Sinner vs Living Adam content. However, Cain has to be careful because Adam is in a really weak state so too much attention could backfire. But he can't let Charlie gain public sympathy considering what he plans to do.

I can't even imagine the issues Cain has, being the literal bastard son of the Devil

I have to ask, will Abel or any of Adam's other children show up?

I also love that Adam kind of fuck up his children, sometimes your parents could love you so much but still fuck you up in some way, Adam doesn't know shit what he's doing, he loves both of his sons but Abel is getting attention and praise from Eve and the angels where as Cain is getting none so the obvious course of action, to him, is to give Cain his time and attention and that fuck them up both so bad

So far, only Able has been worked into the story. Cain's little brother is there for more than just angst. I wanted to give him a real purpose in the AU and I'm pretty happy with how he's turned out. I'm thinking about adding Seth and looking into who exactly Aclama is. However, I probably won't have fun keeping track of all 4 children. I theorize all day in my head but writing an AU is a beast I'm unfamiliar with.

As for Adam's parenting, he definitely struggled like any new dad. He's messed up, got hurt and figured things out right alongside his wife and kids. His family is the “Directions Unclear” meme! The angels gave IKEA level instructions and left until they wanted Able. Sad thing is, Adam's solution to the imbalance is the same one he desperately yearned for from Lucifer. Cain lived a similar life to Adam so he gives his eldest what he's always wanted. Later on the consequences hit them all.

How is Adam in the time of the broadcast, anyway, since he got stabbed with angelic steel and presumably lose a lot of blood, being an angel in Hell probably wouldn't help the matter

Adam is pretty beat up and is basically on life support so he isn't aware of the broadcast. His body is currently trying to keep itself from Hell's natural corruption without the normal ability to do so. Stress has caused him to grow gaunt. At least Cain managed to save the parts of Adam the Cannibal Colony carved up for transit.

The First Man has lost a lof of blood which means transfusions are a life or death matter. Only problem is he's still a holy angel. Demon or Sinner blood will kill him. There is a temporary fix to keep Adam live. It's not Cain. :D
