I picked this gem (pun intended) up from McKay's Knoxville after my first Rails Bridge meetup. I'm finally reading her after a year of possession! #rubyaspirant #rubyist #buildingruby #buildingrubies #gitruby #rubywoo #technoboogie #railsgirl #rubyismybirthstone #languagenumber3 👩🏽💻💄🙌🏽

Some Fun With Recursion & Links
I've been playing with some recursion stuff and just sharing some cool links:
1. A google hangout with David Bock:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4HqTYdIm9A
2. A blog by Jamis Buck:
http://weblog.jamisbuck.org/2010/12/27/maze-generation-recursive-backtracking
So this is kind of cool and also kind of creepy (but mostly cool). Someone created a personalized breakdown report card of your GitHub activity, just plug in your GitHub handle at the bottom of the page. So of course, I typed mine in and it had some pretty cool things to say!
Hilariously, there's a message at the top that tells recruiters that this is by no means a person's CV and that this just provides a "biased and one-sided view". Is it bad that I like this biased, one-sided view? How can you blame me? I mean, they called me a champion Rubyist, one of the top 49% of the most active Ruby users. That's gotta count for something, right?
just completed chapter 3: Organizing objects with classes
of The Well Grounded Rubyist
Understanding better how Ruby Classes work sheds a lot of light on Controllers in Rails, since they are class definitions.
