Sometimes you find a dress that's TOO good to sell.
Hello!
Y'all! Im so happy to be starting this lil' shop up, and am SO surprised at the response that it has received over the past few weeks. There are so many people I owe many thanks to, and I want to make sure I give them the credit they deserve. First off, to my amazing fiancé, Chris Moore, for everything always. And to my beautiful models and motivational supporters, Hannah Shaw, Nicole McCann, and Kristen Eliason, I couldn't do this shop without you, and I am so grateful for you all.
Ill use this as a blog to update with exciting new items, and also to share a bit about the shop and my personal life. Feel free to follow, share, and comment.
Ill start off with an introduction on myself, and what made me want to start this whole thing up! Here it goes:
I live in Washington, D.C. currently with my fiancé, our cat, and 4 other roommates. I love it here, despite its price, but I've really grown to fall in love with this city and many of the people in it. Museums are free, the gardens and parks are beautiful, and to be real, the Pupusas, Ethiopian, and vegan soul food is enough of a reason to never leave this city, EVER.
I play in an indie punk band called, Lemuria. We tour about 5 months out of the year. Sometimes I feel like I have a very split life. One side is touring, and never getting enough sleep. Seeing great and marvelous things in our world, and missing my bed, friends, and fiancé constantly. The other side is what I do when Im at home, which is either baking and cake decorating, or NOW, questing for vintage treasures. Watching too much netflix and going to bed early. The lifestyles are very different from each other, and I guess I'm just starting to get used to each of them. I love both sides, and am thankful I have these opportunities while I have them.
So yeah, thats all for now, but make sure to stay tuned! Ill be posting updates from the shop and maybe even while Im on tour, Ill give a few updates on life and beautiful places.
