Momus

Momus coined the phrase “on the web, everyone will be famous for fifteen people,” riffing off of Andy Warhol’s “everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes.”  Momus was right, he usually is; in fact, I’m probably re-iterating a fact you know already. But if you don’t know much about Momus (aka Nick Currie of Paisley, Scotland, or in his own words, a “furtive, crepuscular art rude-boy) it’s worth reading about him on Wikipedia, visiting his blog, and listening to a song or two.
