ranpo hops back with a grin, giving poe enough room to turn around and face him completely. of all the people that he knew, he was relieved it was someone who the detective could not only speak with freely, but someone who could understand his way of thinking. so many around here were so stupid and boring... it was honestly baffling! “it’s great you ended up here too! i’ve been so bored -- there hasn’t been any familiar faces around, it’s killing me! where are you living? let’s catch up! my agency isn’t too far from here, actually!”
