Dragon blinked slowly, “Ah, Rue?” She wondered, her brain finally catching up with everything. “It’s been quite a while, forgive me for not recognizing you immediately.” The woman said with a bit of a smile.

@ruexberry ~starter~ Ryan had been in this new town for almost a week & in that time he only managed to unpack his telescope & a box of pajamas. There wasn’t much he could do considering most of their belongings were still being shipped out to them. It was Friday night & rather than going to explore the town like his brother Brandon, Ryan chose to stay in. From his upstairs room he could see in to the giant field across the street. Why Brandon chose the house at the edge of town, he would never know, but at least it was a good view. His peered through his telescope & noticed some rustling in the grassy field. It looked like... car being chased by... a dog. A golden retriever to be exact. Ryan raised his head from the telescope & looked out the window. It was a dog. HIS DOG. “Shit!” Ryan practically flew down the stairs & threw the front door open. “I told Brandon to lock that gate.” He muttered. “BUDDY!! BUDDY LEAVE THAT CAT ALONE!!!” He sprinted into the field to retrieve his dog unaware that the cat belonged to someone.

“Then I’d gladly start a thousand riots if it meant you got to stay with me even a moment longer.” He honestly would.

“Wasted? Rue, do not say such things.” he reached over and gently grabbed her hand. “Forgive me for acting so bold after just meeting you. But you are no mere peasant, you are like a gem in a field of wheat- hard to finally spot, but so worth the view.” He smiled softly, holding onto her hand with both hands. “Would you like to stay with me tonight? Not necessarily with me, but at least in the castle- I’d love to spend the morning with you, Rue.. Please grant a young king one selfish wish?”

A new year at law school and a new class. Junsui would be lying if he wasn’t nervous. He was never the best with people. Still, it was exciting! He had always looked forward to when his studies would finally get *hard* and this was promised by all of his teachers for this year.

He awkwardly shuffled into class and looked for the desk with his name on it. Quietly walking to it, he almost held his breath until he sat down at it and looked to see that he was between the window and a girl he had never seen before. Should he strike up conversation? There was still 10 minutes till class started after all..

Christmas with you

Kline was excited for the weeks to come. He’s been decorating all day for a moment such as this. For 24 years of his life, he has never spent Christmas with a person he cares for. On top of a ladder as he hangs up lights around the room, the golden strips of lights shine throughout the room. Climbing down the ladder, he looks over at the undone tree with a bunch of ornaments sitting beside it. He huffs and smiles, well, time for work.

Rue stood at the doorway, holding a big pink bunny that matched her nightgown. "Mommy?" She said with a pout, waiting for her lover's response before entering the room. "I can't sleep..." Rue huffed, puffing up her cheeks. (ruexberry)

Dana rolled over when she heard the door open, then smiled at Rue. “Aww, it’s alright, baby, come to bed,” she said, patting the bed next to her. “I’d love to help protect you against nightmares.”
