“Actually... You deserve to know.” Looking down at his hands, Link felt the guilt claw away at him from the inside out. He should be respecting Medli’s choice of not telling anyone (They left quickly and silently, leaving others to wonder where she disappeared to). However, after nearly getting her killed and leaving her in the Earth Temple, it felt wrong to keep it to himself. If anything happened to her (Because of his foolish choices) someone deserved to know of her bravery. 

“I came back to tell you about Medli,” He let out a careful breath, trying to keep together, “She’s a Sage, as in one from those stories of old... She is now in the Earth Temple praying to gods.”

Staring at the wall, refusing to make eye contact with Komali, he dug his nails into his arm. It was a worthless distraction from what Link had to say. “Monsters swarm the temple and no matter what I do, there’s always more.”
