Training Day -- Closed RP w/ rufflesthediplomat
Erin was a nervous wreck. She rarely ever had cause to go into the main keep, much less to the office of one of the prestigious advisors to the Inquisitor. In the months since arriving at Skyhold, the elf had spent most of her time in the makeshift infirmary right by the main gate.
In fact, she was sure that the nobility around her could tell she was not used to the indoors, or bathing, for that matter. There had been so many wounded, that she had taken to sleeping outdoors with the patients to tend to their needs during the night. Thus, her hair was unkempt and she probably smelled of medicinal salves and magic (which had a subtle scent to those familiar with the arcane arts).
Ambassador Josephine Montilyet. She did not know much about the woman except for common knowledge. She was a noblewoman from Antiva who had connections to both the Antivan court as well as the Orleasian Imperial court. Erin had only seen her a few times and never had they spoken. She knew she was a fair and accomplished diplomat, always getting the supplies needed for the healers, within reason.
Nevertheless, she was not the one who normally dealt in such things. Therefore, she had no idea why she was being summoned in front of such an important and distinguished woman. The messenger had told her the second to last door on the left in the main hall. That meant walking through a crowd of human nobility in the midst of their daily gossip.
Not allowing her trepidation to show on her face, the elf calmly strode through the crowded hall and to the door. She sighed and pushed it open, only to be met with another door. Stepping forward, she brought her knuckles to the door and knocked just loud enough to be heard, but not loud enough to be rude.
“My lady Ambassador? It is Erin the medic. You wished to see me?”
