Natasha couldn’t sleep. It was two a.m. and she found herself in a coffee shop that was nearly abandoned saved for a straggler. He looked like a college kid while he pulled his hair out over a paper, or maybe even a novelist, but Natasha didn’t spare him any mind outside of that. Her focus was on her coffee — because coffee was what someone who hadn’t slept for days needed to help out, but she figured if she couldn’t beat the oncoming insomnia, why not join it?
Her eyes flickered to the door as another soul entered, but not long enough to pay mind to who it was. She listened as they ordered their drink, only looking up when the took a seat across from her. ”I know the house is full, but the seat isn’t available.”
