Who do you imagine voicing each of the characters?
((this one may require a cut just because it came out pretty long…))
Bendy I picture sounding premuch like the usual squeaky Brooklyn/New Yorker easy-to-anger mobster guy, Joe Pesci, @tablewithamicrophone, and crashboombanger (he’s deactivated now I think?) being the closest candidates off the top of my head besides my buddy @coolcat001100 who I believe does a wonderful job himself :>
Angie all around is meant to be Bendy’s near total opposite, soft, sweet and curious of the new world around her. Hynden Walch’s performance as Starfire and Nia is always the first thing that comes to mind, and who I always try to emulate when I’ve voiced her myself. I’m far from opposed from Fluttershy or any of Tara Strong’s “smoll and cute” voices. As for singing…
Boris I’m set would sound like Big Mac, speaking of MLP. And since that one Gospel of Dismay cover I absolutely see Johnathan Young as his singing voice just because the visual of him being capable of metal/rock is amusing to me xD
Eartha Kitt is Maria all over the place
Jacksepticeye helped inspired Rodney in the first place
Dolly I picture sounding like this lady; https://youtu.be/ca7LQQBCZ3I
Raphael was inspired by the Count from Castle of Cagliostro, and subsequently I picture him with Kirk Thornton’s voice for him
Michael is easilyChristopher Lee
Minerva I don’t think I can pinpoint at the moment but I s’pose Rose would be fitting. These songs make me think of her a lot on the other hand (edit: Eclipsa would be a good fit as well)
As for Charley, Barley and Edgar…
thaaaat’s about all I got atm, might edit more in later? unsure, though I hope sharing was at least interesting/some kinda helpful guide for when people wanna try dubbing anything from here ^^;
Edit cuz I have more;
Rocky: premuch the same New Yorker type accent I picture Bendy but really deep and gravelly (best example IMO; http://katelynntheg.tumblr.com/post/168988458536/katie-gollygee)
Rufford: trashy dimwit hillbilly like this https://youtu.be/mIP3wZwWJA4?t=14
A quick tour around Rufford park to wet your appetite. Was once a cysteine abbey that was turned into a country house. I am not sure why they knocked down the country house in 1956, I suspect a fire, as the building looked in good repair in the 1930s.
All the best
