But like... Civilian/Domestic Robin/Lucina life.
Because heartwarming and fluffy is what they deserve after all they go through.
My general headcanons for it:
They spend a while traveling, at least until Lucina gets pregnant. When she does, they settle down.
Lucina doesn't want to stay at the castle. It worries her far too much that scandal might get started, even though word got out about the kids and their time travel, and she has an easy excuse in being Robin's wife. So they move out to a place of their own.
Said home is in the forests near Ylisstol where Lucina first arrived in the world of the past.
Chrom helped them get their house built.
Robin actually still works for Chrom, and largely sees him regularly. Lucina often comes with, but not always.
Lucina likes doing things with her hands: she knits, she does wood carving, and she gardens.
She’s also the resident cook, since Robin can only cook for Manakete and Taguel.
Robin, however, can prepare drinks. He can brew a mean coffee, a fine tea-- oft supplied by Maribelle, and Hot Cocoa fairly easily.
Neither particularly likes Alcohol, but Lucina can drink Robin under the table. Easily. She doesn’t, unless there’s no way to avoid it, because Gods know, the Khans throw crazy parties, and it’d be downright rude if they didn’t partake.
Robin takes up writing and spends some off time dabbling with painting. He’s still not so good, but he joins forces with Lucina’s wood carving to make something passable every now and then.
Neither of them like the winter. Robin doesn’t like cold in particular, but otherwise doesn’t mind. Lucina, flat out doesn’t like the whole season, she’s not bothered by the cold as much as Robin, but she can’t stand seeing the lifeless trees and gray skies. Reminds her too much of her future past. She also worries about her garden and the flowers she plants everywhere fearing that they will die in the winter weather.
However, they make it a point to attend the Winter Festival every year. Both enjoy that, and honestly don’t mind snow so much, as long as they’re together. She wears silly antlers, and knits the best festival sweaters. No one tells her that they’re winners in the ugly sweater contest though. Not even Morgan.
She ropes Robin into the Spring Festival. He spends the whole time panicking over people possibly making fun of her, or saying lewd things about her wardrobe, and/or being smitten over it himself.
They’re cuddlers. Lucina was kind of aloof and averted much touch early in their relationship, but opened up fairly quickly. Now they’ll cozily wrap each other up after walks and on cart/carriage rides.
Rpbin will often read himself and Morgan+Marc to sleep. Lucina has left the kids room and found Robin not returned to her in the morning on multiple occasions.
He often reads stories about the heroes of yore to his kids. Marth is a favorite, as is Seliph. [Robin doesn’t like anything to do with Julius though, as the whole thing strikes way too close for comfort for him]
Morgan learned tomestackers from the massive amount of books Robin keeps in his study. Robin himself would create towering piles of tomes, and Morgan emulated this thinking it was a game.
Robin has a section of books from Henry. Henry actually started writing children’s books, but still is ...Henry, so Robin’s careful to read every one of them himself before reading them to his family.
Lucina takes a morning walk every single day without fail, regardless of the weather unless she physically cannot get out of the door. Robin often joins her. Sometimes, the whole family will go.
Robin carted off most of his old strategy books to Ylisstol, as he started doubting if he wants Morgan to go down the same path that Morgan the Time Traveller did. Unless, of course, they were just history books. Those he kept, because he finds the past to be really interesting.
Robin keeps an assortment of magical tomes in the house. Most are locked up, but he literally sleeps with a Thoron tome, and Lucina has Falchion nearby. This, along with their home being an extremely frequented location of the Shepherds’ patrols, has kept most bandits away. There have been a couple cases of particularly dumb bandits trying to break in as a lone house in the woods is not at first glance an intimidating target.
On the other hand, while some kids in nearby towns warn of an “evil wizard” who lives there, they are very kind to children who get lost in the woods and find their house, and will gladly take care of them for the night before taking them back to their parents in the morning. Morgan and Mark enjoy it when this happens, but are sad when the next day comes.
Robin has caught Lucina using Falchion as a fruit knife, and eating an orange unpeeled. She denies both.
Both are very attentive to the other and to their kids when anyone gets sick. They both will wind up getting sick more often than not when that happens.
Several decades later, they passed away within minutes of each other.
