oh my okay..I just cried over a video game so I am a bit of a mess right now but I will never pass up the chance to talk about my ocs!

I imagine Rufus with a safety vest on because he is very strict when it comes to rules! Because of his strict upbringing and trying to please his father Because he’s a silly guy who likes order!

I always associate Alphair with bunny’s. Perhaps maybe one of the only things on earth that I’ve added to their world because why not bunny’s are cute. He loves animals and grew up with them because he was isolated from other kids a lot and never had many friends because wizards give great value to living things like animals and plants. Apologies for the crossed out words but it seems to be physically impossible for me to be silly without seriousness and vice versa

Anways- Norah. What a gal. So much I could say but also so much I haven’t quite figured out yet. I don’t know many of her likes and dislikes because the way I see her is in the mental state that she’s currently in in the part of the book I’m writing so..

BUT what I have figured out is that she loves to fight! After the initial story I bet she takes up lessons like their version of boxing. It’s something I can really see her doing and it’s a great way to let stress and anger out.

Woo 17K words and 42 pages.

On chapter 9 now, though I'm not worrying too much right now where all the chapters will be. I'll have a better idea of that when I'm on the second draft.

She kept her head looking straight at the door, preparing herself. She started to walk towards it and reached her hand out to grab the handle- -when it opened for her.

The door burst open and Norah jumped back, [Hand gesture]. Her surprised expression quickly was replaced with furrowed brows and confusion.

“Rufus, what the [swear] are you doing here??” She yelled.

He stood leaning slightly into the house, still holding onto the door's front handle.

“I forgot to knock, sorry!” He quickly slammed the door closed and a knock was heard after. Norah looked over at Alphair, he was more confused than she was. He looked at her like “you know this guy?” She glared at him like “not purposefully.”

She grumbled to herself and went to open the door, the knocking becoming frantic. 

“I’m coming [swear]!” 

She opened the door and greeted Rufus with a grumpy expression. She made sure to stand in a way so that he couldn’t come in.

“Haha! Found you! My entrance was ruined but I’m here now!” He said as if she was expecting him. He stood there in a cocky pose, waiting for her to say something.

“I can’t do this pose forever, let me in already.” 

“No way [swear].” She slammed the door in his face.

“Uh Kerny, who is that guy?” Alphair asked, peeking out the window to see him.

Norah rubbed her temples, this ‘Kerny’ act was getting old. 

“Not important, we have to escape.” 

“What??” Alphair looked alarmed at the idea of having to escape from his own home.

“Look he's my sworn enemy okay?”

“An enemy?? Wow you must have done some cool stuff to get enemies already!” Alphairs eyes sparkled.

Norah looked at him with a crazy expression, “what the? I’m going to ignore your weirdness and instead ask where's another exit?"

The swear brackets are for when I come up with some my own because that'll be funner than using existing ones. I also don't want to use the f word in my writing so I need lots of alternatives. Maybe after Nano I'll come up with some when I have more brain space to think about it.
