IT IS ONE IN THE FUCKING MORNING BUT THIS ASK MADE ME FUCKING CACKLE
FIRST Sebek is DISTRAUGHT. When he finds out that Ace is dating Malleus he is convinced that Ace used some underhanded seduction techniques and hypnotised Malleus and he is convinced that Ace is it to ruin the kingdom. And then Ace punches him in the face and he starts taking back his words. In all seriousness he is conflicted. Because he has the loyalty to the crown and also the fact that he's worried that something wrong might happen to Ace and he won't be able to do anything about it.
When he finds out that Ace is dating Lilia he starts fearing for his own life. Those two combined are going to ruin his life one way or another and they fees of each others energy as well so there is essentially no stopping them. Also Ace becomes a sugar baby in both and Sebek has to fight demons not to comment or say anything.
When Jack finds out that Ace is dating Leona his first instinct is to congratulate them and start treating Ace as Leona's mate. And then his survival instincts kick back in and he realises that God is real and is CACKLING at him. First, he gets flustered when insulting Ace, because that's essentially insulting Leona. It takes Ace sitting him down and telling him to treat him like a friend for his fanboyness to quiet down.
(I'm doing Ruggie for vice.) Like Sebek, he is PETRIFIED. Those two together are menaces. He pities the poor fools who stumbled upon them when they feel like scamming people. He keeps a tight hold on his pocket and refuses to play their games. However, he finds it hilarious when they target people he doesn't like.
Epel is in pure shock when he finds out that Ace and Vil are together. Because like, why??? On the surface, they're as different as you can get, but once he sees them together he understands. Now is scared because those two are so MEAN when together. Watching them insult someone together was the scariest moments of his life and he thanks the Evil Queen daily that he wasn't the one they were mad at.
When he finds out that Ace and Rook are together he is worried about Ace initially. And then he noticed how much free Ace seemed? Even though Rook was clearly stalking him, it seemed that his constant presence reassured Ace and made him feel protected.
Ortho is ECSTATIC that Ace and Idia are dating. He's already planned their wedding, their first child, their honeymoon, their gravestones, everything. He is just so happy that his older brother is happy and that he's getting Ace as an older brother.
When Deuce finds out that Ace are Riddle are dating he's both happy and worried. Happy that this means Ace can finally focus on his studies but also worried if something could happen to Ace and he could get hurt by Riddle so he gives a very thorough and respectful shovel talk
When he finds out that Ace and Trey are dating he's shocked. He never thought that in a million years would those two get together but seeing how Ace finally has an outlet for his bratty behaviour, and seeing how happy Trey looks when teasing Ace, he's happy for the both of them.

Treyace! Trey enjoys having Ace sit on the counters when he's baking and anytime he's baking cookies he let's Ace eat the cookie dough
Catace! Constantly couple photos. In fact Cater takes them out to fancy places because Ace's eyes widening cutely and he flushes prettily and Cater can never have enough photos of his boyfriend being that gorgeous
Leoace! Leona let's Ace skip classes in his dorm so long as Ace let's Leona use his thighs as a pillow and doesn't speak so Ace can speak. Also Leona encourages Ace to grow out his hair and Leona loves running his fingers through it
Rugace! The two of them together would have the combined dental problem of the entire school lmao. Those two enjoy buying the other bakes goods and when the other isn't looking they'll steal a bite of each others food.
FloAce! Floyd enjoys carrying Ace in many different positions. Bridal, over his shoulder, piggyback, like a newborn, legit any way he can carry Ace is a win for him

Personally, Riddle is throwing enough tantrums for the other two to seem normal whilst internally they're seething.
Riddle
When he finds out that Ace is dating Leona he has half a mind to lock Ace up in a tower and to never let him leave ever again. Look, he respects Leona. He also simply does not trust the older around his card soldier. There are arguments. Lots of them. But at the end of the day what can he do? Leona is more powerful than him and Ace is more stubborn than him. However, he must say, he is extremely pleased by how high Ace's grades have gotten. Less so by the also simultaneous increase in class absence
With ruggie he simply wants to die. He can already imagine the chaos that those two would cause alone. And now together? Seven help them all.
With Azul he simply wants to punch the other. He is convinced that blackmail is going on. When he realises that no such thing is happening he starts praying for the lives of those who are about to get scammed
With Jade he's actually noth pleased and annoyed. Pleased because he's with someone who's diligent but annoyed because he's just as shady as the rest of the suitors
With kalim he doesn't know what to do. On the one kalim is OBLIVIOUS but he's also one of the kindest spuld in the school so he can't do anything.
With jamil he is so so happy. Someone who is diligent and smart and caring. He will gladly ignore everything that happens in book 4 lmao
With Vil he's also glad but apprehensive. Vil is hardworking, timely ans serious. Whilst he is also kind he tends to have a mean strike a mile wide and Riddle worries about Ace.
With Rook he doesn't know how to feel. On the one hand Rook is smart. On the other....he's lowkey creepy. He just reminds himself that it's at least not floyd
With Idia he is so disappointed. He truly believes that Ace can do so much better than the other.
With Malleus he's both releived and apprehensive. He's received because he now has someone to pass on messages to Malleus but now he's worrying about Ace insulting royalty.
With lilia he's mildly concerned. He knows that the two of them together spell trouble

With leona he's lowkey happy about it? Like he knows that Leona can be lazy but he also knows that the other can be protective so he feels safe knowing that Ace is with him
With Ruggie he's grateful that he gets two baking helpers, even if he's stuck making donuts
With Azul he doesn't particularly care. However, he does give an extremely threatening but very lax shovel talk about trapping Ace into a scheme.

Summary: Ace is forced to listen to his behavior to do with some of the upperclassmen whilst refusing to acknowledge a single thing that is happening
“Give me one instance where I was overly friendly with either Leona or Ruggie!” demanded Ace as he glared at Jack who looked annoyed at the lies that were coming out of Ace’s mouth.
Ace made a couple of random mouth noises as he observed what was available ain the school vending machines. When he saw the cherry jam biscuits were in stock his eyes gleamed excitedly, and he quickly inserted his thaumarks into the slot and began typing in the pin number. However, some karma from whatever prank he had pulled on someone before had apparently come to bite him back in the ass as the snack froze in place and got stuck behind the glass.
“And the one day where I don’t bring extra money with me as well.” Muttered Ace sullenly as he kicked the machine pettily.
Sighing, he turned away with the intent of heading back into his dorm so that he can pout his way into Trey making him a cherry pie, or at the very least using his unique magic on food to make it taste like cherries, he bumped into something. Or more like someone.
“Watch it, Spikey.” Grunted Leona, narrowing his eyes at the freshmen.
“Sorry senpai!” apologised Ace, trying to escape the situation quickly. Leona just grunted again before walking to the vending machine. Ace, however, quickly made his way to the mirror room to avoid any more confrontation. However, before he can move too quickly, he felt something hit the back of his head before hearing the sound of something falling on the floor.
Turning around, he saw the cherry biscuits on the floor and Leona walking away. Ace stared at the biscuits for a few seconds before survival instincts kicked in. “Thank you Leona-senpai!” he yelled loudly, startling more than a couple of other students.
Leona simply waved a hand in acknowledgement, not even turning around.
“Okay, so? He was nice once?” snapped Ace, staring at Jack as if he was crazy. Jack would have felt himself go crazy if not for the second memory he had.
“Yeah and do nice people also kabedon you and force you to cuddle them in a very much public spot whilst you still have a lesson?” asked Jack and felt satisfied by the spluttering before him.
“Herbivores aren’t particularly smart, are they?” commented Leona, trapping Ace in front of him with his arms and leaning into him.
“I guess not.” Ace smiled nervously up at the other as he tried not to freak out over getting caged by the lion. “Say Leona-senpai, how about we completely forget this happened and I leave you to your nap and you give me back my life?” wheedled Ace, attempted to find some way to escae, but no movement ever managed to escape the lion’s keen eyes.
“Why should I bother bartering with an idiot who clearly doesn’t know how to sniff out danger?” asked Leona, taking one hand off the wall and using it to take Ace’s chin in between his fingers to bring Ace’s face closer to him. “Wouldn’t make me particularly smart, now would it?” asked Leona, whispering the last part into Ace’s ears.
Ace felt a sensation go through his bones and something go on in his stomach, however he ignored it in favour of having the last word.
“Well, I mean a guy who gets held back-ACK!” gasped Ace as he felt a hand wrap around his throat. Oddly enough however, his fingers weren’t pressing. Instead, they were just holding him. “Sorry, sorry, sorry-!”
“You have Crewel right now, don’t you?” Leona gestured towards Ace’s coat lab. Quite frankly the only reason why Ace was even were Leona took a nap was so that he can find some herbs that he and Deuce had needed, and Crewel had demanded him to go get them himself. “Well, I know just the way you can make up interrupting my nap.” Leona smiled. It was not a nice smile.
Just as Ace was about to question what the junior had said, his felt strong arms wrap around his body and lift him up. Ace flailed around as Leona marched to where he had been napping originally prior to being disturbed and threw Ace onto the ground. However, before Ace could protest any further, Leona joined him and used Ace’s chest as a pillow, effectively trapping the human under Leona.
“There. Now disturb me again and I’ll use my teeth on your neck instead.” Yawned Leona as he passed out, leaving the panicking first years to question his life and figure out a reasonable excuse to give to Crewel.
Jack stared pointedly at the spluttering redhead as he tried to find an excuse behind Leona’s prior actions, however, everyone knew that there was nothing he could say.
“And might I just remind everyone how Leona had been willing to kill me when we first met. I’m just saying, you two sleeping together-.”
“Don’t say it like that!” snapped Ace heatedly. “So, I have a housewarden or two wrapped around my fingers. So what?”
“We might have been able to excuse you cozying up to the house wardens and a prince. But Ruggie?” asked Epel.
Ace spun around and came facet face with a mischievous looking Ruggie.
“R-Ruggie!” fluttered Ace, as he tried to hide whatever he was doing behind his back. “N-nothing! What are you doing here?” he asked, trying to flip the question on him.
“Shishishi y’now, you’re a real bad liar, Ace?” snickered Ruggie as he attempted to see what was behind Ace’s hands.
“Hey!” pouted Ace, glaring at the hyena. “You caught me off guard how was I supposed to know what to do!”
“What are you doing anyways?” asked Ruggie genuinely, staring in confusion at the box.
“Actually, since it is related to you I guess I have to tell you and he moved his hands and the contents in them to the front. “I wanted to give you these for helping me out the other day with your dorm mates when they cornered me. I owe ya one.”
Ace wasn’t even looking at Ruggie, He was shyly looking at the floor, face red with an evident pout. Ruggie stared at the box of donuts in the redheads’ hands and felt his heart rate increase. ‘Fuck, he’s too cute.’
He quickly composed himself and put on his usual smirk “Awe thank you freshie!” he squeezed Ace’s cheek ad hopes the sound of his laughter can fully hide the sound of his beating heart.
“I heard that heartbeat and when I tell you it should not be going that high, I mean it! Also, why on the Great 7 bring so many donuts?! There were so many he actually stared sharing!” Jack waved his arms wildly into the air to emphasis his point.
“S-so! I want to show a little gratitude and get along with on of my friends dormmates! What’s so wrong with that!” demanded Ace, glaring at them all sullenly, refusing to take any of this slander lying down.
“Oh? So, what about the fish mafia?” asked Ortho pointedly. “One would thin you would stay away after they tried to get you and Deuce to be their internal servants.
“Haaaa~ Crabby you’re so small!” giggled Floyd as he stared at Ace who was struggling to gather all the basketballs up.
“Huh? What are you on about Floyd-senpai?” asked Ace, as he finally threw the last of the balls inside the basket.
“I mean, I could probably wrap one hand around you, and it would cover half your body.” Giggled Floyd before an idea struck in his head. With a maniacal smile he slowly stared to approach an oblivious Ace who was busy pushing the basket towards the storage rom. Finally, when he was behind Ace he enacted his plan.
“Y’now you can be real wi- Ah!” gasped Ace as he felt cold hands wrap around his bare skin. He felt a swooshing sensation in his stomach and felt his heart skip a beat. He could feel the flush spreading down his neck and all over.
Floyd, meanwhile, wasn’t paying attention to the reaction of his victim. Instead, he was focusing on how his hands practically overlapped as they held the youngers waist. Both hands barely even had to stretch to do so, and Floyd was practically holding Ace in a feather-light hold.
“So tiny.” He murmured only to be hit and sent tumbling down by a basketball
“PERVERT!” Screamed the bright red first year pointing at the second year glaring brightly, attracting the attention of some of the other plays who were avoiding Floyd in hopes of not becoming his next target. Ace then spun on his heals and stormed to the locker rooms, ignoring Floyds pouted muttering about what he had done wrong.
“That’s just Floyd being Floyd!” defended Ace but then winced at how bad that sounded.
“If that is his normal why on the great seven did you react like that?” pointed out Sebek, raising an eyebrow, “Besides which, groping people should not be normal, behaviour for /anyone/” he emphasised, mildly disturbed by how Ace wasn’t even mildly concerned about what was going on.
“And besides,” continued Ace, ignoring Sebek “I want to remain on good terms with one of my club mates! What’s so wrong with that!” he huffed, not expecting an answer to his very much hypothetical question.
“And why does that extend to his brother?” asked Epel.
“My, my Ace-san I never knew you were so interested in mushrooms.” Jade commented pleasantly as he watched Ace observe the various types of mushrooms he had laid out.
“Eh, not particularly but apparently housewarden Riddle wanted to try something new for this week unbirthday party and he’s having me collect a few types of mushrooms for the savoury dishes.” Ace watched as a mushroom puffed up a ball of smoke fascinatedly. “But to be honest I don’t think I’m going to find what I came for here, am I? he ruffled his hair in thought.
“Now, I don’t think that’s true.” Assured Jade as he shuffled around and pulled out one of the few normal mushrooms he owned and presented it to the first year. “I believe these are king oyster mushrooms!” Jade paused, expecting the first year to simply take the mushroom and leave with it, instead the other made himself comfortable and looked at him again.
“Go on.” He urged when h e realised that Jade wasn’t going to continue without prompt. Jade stared at the first year for a moment before his eyes sparkled. He grabbed the youngers hand and began dragging him to his mushrooms and explaining everything.
Ace went back to his dorm with a few more mushrooms than necessary.
“Where the hell are you freaks spying on me from!” demanded Ace, looking extremely disturbed by how much his friends were seeing.
“Irrelevant.” Replied Yuu sweetly before leaning closer to Ace. “Now, excuse?”
“Maybe I wanted to be on good terms with him, so Floyd doesn’t pummel me for being rude to his brother. Besides, get him talking about mushrooms and you have a 80% chance of coming out of the encounter with minimal trauma.
“Okay, so that’s really what yu want to go with?”? asked Jack as he stared critically at his fellow first years. Ace merely blew him a raspberry. “Fine, then explain, whilst sparing no detail, what’s up with Azul!”
Ace let out another sneeze as he made his way out of the courtyard, shopping bag in hand.
“What kind of upperclassmen forces their cute underclassmen to go out in the freezing cold to grab sugar of all things!” pouted Ace “Cruel and unfair!”
“My, my Ace-san, do you require any assistance?” came the familiar slimy voice.
Ace squeaked and spun around to find Azul, looking perfectly content in the snow, with a mere scarf wrapped around him. Ace couldn’t help but feel slightly jealous. He had been forced to hurry up and he could only grab a small jacket before he was sent out to Sam’s shop.
“N-nope!” replied Ace, hiding his shopping bag away from the lucrative businessman. “He had no intention of having to deal with that wretched anemone ever again!
Azul stared at him for a moment, observing his trembling hands, the way his body shivered, how he was barely covered in the cold. How his cheeks and nose had gone a ruddy red and he observed how Ace had to sniffle to make sure that snot wouldn’t drip down his nose. “It’s strange. I thought humans were meant to cover up during cold seasons.”
“Well, I didn’t particularly have time. To.” Replied Ace, fake smile on as he attempted to edge away from the conversation.
“Oh?” Azul bit his lip for a moment, thought for a second and decided ‘screw it.’ “Well then do take this.” And with that he wrapped his scarf around Ace’s neck, making sure it was secure. “Would hate for you to get so sick, especially after seeing how efficient you are!” and with that, he left the first years, shrouded in his scarf, staring behind him in confusion.
Meanwhile he tried to hide his own burning cheeks.
“Okay? So, I don’t want to piss of the guy who could steal my magic! How is that wrong! You guys should be praising me for my survival instinct!” he pouted, wishing he could cross his arms but unfortunately them being tied behind his back made it difficult to do so.
“Not when that survival instinct land you in his bed!” exclaimed Deuce.
Ace stared at him for a moment before twisting his body and landing a solid two-foot kick on Deuce’s leg.
“OUCH!” yelped Deuce in pain as he pulled the injured leg closer to his chest and edged away from Ace
“Someone change the conversation, or I go for the other leg.” Ace snarled, glaring at Deuce.
“Gladly!” Yuu then flipped a few more pages in that good for nothing cursed book of his which Ace was so going to burn after he got untied. “Earlier you had said that you let Floyd get away with half his shit because he’s in the same club as you. But what is your excuse when it comes to your actions towards Jamil!”
“Jamil-senpai! I’m hungry!” panted an exhausted Ace, tired after the intense practice session that he had just had.
“Well, it’s good I already made the biscuits you liked, huh?” asked Jamil rhetorically, feeding the younger the biscuit whilst the redhead excitedly leaned closer. “Have some water as well before you pass out.” He added, pouring some water from his flask into another cup so Ace could have some.
Ace gave an excited whoop as the ball he shot landed cleanly inside the net. Happy, he turned towards Jamil with eyes that seemed to be saying ‘See, see, did you see?”
‘Dear sevens.’ Thought Jamil fondly before ruffling Ace’s hair, trailing his fingers down till his hands cupped the back of Ace’s neck and he gave an affectionate squeeze “That was a great shot, Ace!” he praised, much to the redhead’s enjoyment.
The younger blushed a prettier shade of rouge before deflecting the praise slightly. “It’s al thanks to Jamil-senpai always taking care of me! Those biscuits make me feel like I can shoot 100 shots!”
“Jamil-senpai what do you think about this jacket?”
“It would look good on you.”
“Can you two get up and actually participate?” came the annoyed voice of one of the upperclassmen in the club “This isn’t the time too cuddle!”
“Ehh, but I just wanna know what jackets look nice! And Jamil-senpai is sure to know what looks cool and what doesn’t!” Ace pouted, not getting up from his place on Jamil’s lap.
“Besides, I’m pretty sure productivity stopped the minute Floyd wanted to learn how to dunk like that one guy in that basketball anime.” Jamil pointed out, arms wrapping tighter around Ace.
“I should have just gone to a different school!” the upperclassmen yelled, absolutely fed up. He threw his hands in the air and stalked off, leaving the smirking duo to their devices.
“…want to be spoiled?” Ace defended weakly, knowing that there wasn’t a particular reason why he was on Jamil’s lap other than the fact that he wanted to be. “Besides, I’m close with those in my club and I get along with them well! We DO have things in common y’now?” and he had switched from being bashful and shy to being annoyed and angry about the situation.
“Okay, and what do you have in common with Kalim Al-Asim?”
“Are you sure this is a great idea?” asked Ace as he stared at the ground below him.
“Pshh, we’ll be back before Jamil even notices that we’re gone!” reassured Kalim before turning back to his carpet “Now higher!” he ordered and gave an excited laugh when the carpet did as he was told and carried both teens higher.
It was quiet for a few moments, both enjoying the quiet breeze of the night sky. However, Ace was getting uncomfortable, and he still had a few curiosities he needed tamed. “Why do you even enjoy the magic carpet ride anyways?” asked Ace, slightly confused as to why the sophomore had taken him to go flying with. “And why with me?”
Kalim didn’t respond right away, merely taking in the scenery from being so high up in the air.
“It was always harder for people to go after me when I was on the carpet.” He began, eyes not moving from in front of him. “The carpet could take me to any heights, no matter the lack of oxygen. It could outmanoeuvre any plane or magician. It could be used as a shield and a friend.” He finally turned to Ace red eyes filled with understanding and wonder. “It gets hard at school, no matter if you’re as good and happy as me, or as filled with resentment as Leona. Sometimes, it’s nice to be up in the sky to get away from it, isn’t it?”
Kalim laid a gentle hand on Ace’s cheek and gently stroked under one eye and that’s when Ace realised that the wetness on his face was the tears falling down from his eyes. He tried to take a deep breathe, maybe to make a joke or to deflect, but instead he let out a hitched sob.
Kalim opened his arms and Ace buried himself in them, simply allowing himself a few moments away from the expectations of Night Raven College.
The room was silent as Ace avoided the gave of everyone in the room, trying to hide his tears.
“I just wanted to really strongly remind you, that we all love you!”
“Then why am I still tied up?” Ace demanded to know, his wrists growing genuinely sore at being in such an uncomfortable position

Ace pointedly ignored Sebek grasping at his own leg in pain “Kalim-senpai is so nice that he could make a tree cry and beg for his comfort.” Ace responded blandly and unlike with the others they could tell he was being genuine “He’s a great upperclassmen and honestly, a flying session isn’t the worst way I could spend my time.”
“And yet you would gladly spend your time with my housewarden?” asked Epel innocently, yet they could see the incredulity in his eyes.
Ortho fluttered around, grabbing another pie so he could feed Ace as he and Epel got into a fight. “Do you truly think this will end well, Yuu?” he asked the human.
“Yeah, I’m starting to have doubts as well.” Jack added, overhearing their conversations.
“You’re sure this won’t backfire horribly?” Deuce added his two cents.
“Trust me you guys! By the end of this night, Ace will be well taken care ff and stuffed! And I don’t mean from just the pies, wink, wink.”
“You’re disgusting.” Jack wrinkled his nose at the joke.
“Yeah, but you all love me. Now go check on Sebek. I think Ace might have actually kicked his balls instead.” Yuu eyed the boy that was still in pain, wincing as he let out another pained groan.
Deuce’s only hope that this night wouldn’t end in bloodshed seemed to be dwindling in the likeliness of it.
