People talk about ballet!lock and rugby!John, as if the two were completely separate spheres. I’m sitting here thinking about John being sent to Sherlock’s ballet studio to work on his footwork during the offseason. Putting it in to practice at some point the next season, and Sherlock spotting the move and just burying his face in his hands as he blushes red as a turn-up.
John helping Sherlock as he weight-builds for tone so he can handle a certain difficult move, his rugby-captain’s hand on his hamstrings as he stretches it just so when he braces against the weight machine. Completely legitimate spotting, of course.
*coughs*
fem!uni!sherlock joins the rugby team to impress john but she sucks ass at it and is way too skinny and tall and slow and just is so not built for the sport, they try making her a back because it’s pretty clear she can’t take a hit, but she can’t run fast, and then they try making her a pack, but she’s wayyyy to tall to actually tackle anyone effectively (she can’t get low enough) and eventually after practice one day john pulls her behind a tree and kisses her and says, “you suck at rugby, but i like you anyway. please go try out for hamlet.”
and sherlock walks away and never goes to practice again, but goes to all of john’s games and gets way too spirited about them, and all the rugby girls know her as john’s cute girlfriend who can’t play rugby for her life.
