Raynold furrows his eyebrows together in a bit of a concerned expression--the girl didn’t have to go through such lengths for him. After all, he only saved her from a giant, feline-appearing creature...nothing special.

“You can eat both of them, Rui,” he says as he plops down on the bench besides her.

His eyes kind of sparkle when she insists on him having it--she’s definitely nicer than Lucy (...both in deman and human form) and so he can’t resist when she pushes it towards him.

“.........You’re the best.”

He tears up a bit. What a nice sister-like friend he has.

Sitting at the base of a large tree in the Venari Forest is perhaps...not the best idea. Still, due to being dumb as a rock--Raynold is instantly attracted to the forest. Sitting in the forest reminds him of his former home, and it’s a good reminder that he’s never coming back to save his precious world. He hears many creatures--some loud thump thumps, but luckily not very close--walk across the forest and in the treetops, but he’s positioned himself close to the outskirts of the forest. It’s also great for him that he’s got fire powers for a quick escape.

Whistling softly, as he closes his eyes, he almost falls asleep--until he hears movements coming closer and closer. The movements are so subtle, he almost mistakes it for some small animals rummaging through the leaves. However, he’s tuned himself to the sounds of Venari nature. It’s definitely not small animals. He shoots up from his spot and gets in an offensive position.

“Come out into the open. I can hear you. I know you’re here...somewhere.”
