Iselis: Valfrid's half-sibling.

She has everything: wealth, power, and talent. To those who have nothing, it is her great joy to be merciful. To surround them with gifts until they cannot live without her mercy. Too late they realize the gifts come at a price. They learn that once she owns their very lives, they themselves become things that can be gifted away.

Getting dressed: Outfit considerations for Valfrid.

His shirts are roomy and have side slits to give room for his tail to move. Everything is layered and versatile.

During travel he might wrap his feet or tail for warmth and protection, but he finds shoes uncomfortable.

He colors his fingertips as part of ritual practice; achieved by applying a mixture of plant dyes and allum over the fingers and letting them rest overnight.
