I'll be listing one game per week, that I have played and believe it deserves more attention. If you have already played it, then that's great! If you haven't, then you might as well. Name: RUINER Genre: Shoot Em' Up Developer: Reikon Games Engine: UE4 Length: 2-10 hours... depends on the selected difficulty. Singleplayer? Yes. Multiplayer? No. Release Date: Sept 26th, 2017 Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC. Reviews: Steam 9/10, PC Gamer 84%, Metacritic 75% It's one of those cyberpunk-themed, indie, third-person shooters that use a top-down format. It's really fast-paced, easy to learn, but difficult to master as you fight an OVERWHELMING number of enemies whilst listening to a badass soundtrack. It's a very brutal game, imma tell you that; makes Hotline Miami look like a fancy picnic. It's your average day in the life of a half-man, half-robot (heh sounds like Robocop), who also turns out to be a psychopath. He discovers that his brother was kidnapped so, just like Liam Neeson from the movie TAKEN, he sets out on a path of slaughtering the corrupt, with the aid of a secretive hacker friend. However, if you are running a little dry, there's no harm in waiting for a sale.
