words could not even begin to describe masahiro's own confusion , to the situation that had occured only minutes ago. surely , his own ties to the less savory had its dangers , but , what could he do ? especially when everyone still called him big brother , despite cutting off ties to the mafia lifestyle. you ran the scenes for so long , ensuring no one would get into the trouble on the outside , and fighting off any punks who didn't seem to know their place. still , there came Niko ready for a fight and created a misunderstanding behind Masahiro's back. thankfully , you were able to cease the fighting by sending a right hook on one of your boy's neck , but , that still didn't stop Niko from getting punched square in the jaw.

❛ can't say , I really expected you to jump in the fray like that. well , gotta say you held up lot longer than I thought , but , do me a favor and don't ever do that again. ❜ ruffling Niko's head , never quite catching the red that soon spread from ear to ear. still , to have someone that upset over you , it was a strange feeling and not one you'd felt for a long time. who could you blame you from the sense of pride swelling in your heart , hide that smile of yours or it'll be too obvious.

eye lids drift close , the melodies that which would remind you most of home. an odd concept , home , as demons , this concept would be very different to how a human , or even heavenly being would describe this as such. everyone else who existed in this realm held no such concepts of this , but , that is precisely what made it just right. thinking back on it , several others would look down upon the soil in which you walked and so forth. in your youth , it was something beyond your comprehension. though , as you’ve aged with time , and gaining more experiences in terms of places you’d visit , it began to make sense. but , looking at the palace that stood tall above the realm , there wouldn’t be anywhere else that you’d want to be. well , more specifically , there was someone who you couldn’t bare to leave behind. pushing such thoughts aside , they were unnecessary for a guard such as yourself , but , most guards & royalty were close as you two were. what precisely were you two?

prompto shrugs his shoulders lightly, not knowing what to say next. not that he necessarily had to, because he thinks they both have truth in their words. everyone used stories to escape from their reality, that would never change now or in the future. but then again, many stories and myths were based on real events in some way or another, or had some lesson to tell. either way, he didn’t feel like getting into the logistics of tales and morality.
