Haha, yeah! Vivi is a little mutt but she’s part papillon and she used to have little white tufts coming out of her ears which we thought looked kind of wizardy. XD As it is we have taught her some video game commands like “do a barrel roll” and to beg/dance when we sing the Final Fantasy victory song.

I’m just gotten to the Season 1 finale and I’ve already been crying over Pietros and Varro and the separation of Crixus and Naevia… the shorn hair! the flogging! Crixus’ face of anguished man-pain! Naevia’s hand on his cheek! Seriously, I couldn’t take it… I know that they find each other again in future seasons, but right now it’s killing my little shipper heart. 

Also, I have the best idea for a Crixus and Naevia modern AU fic… stay tuned!

She is! We named her when we saw her, thinking we wanted something Final Fantasy related, and also because of her coloring... but in the end she would have made a better Yuffie because BOY DOES SHE LOVE STEALING THINGS.

I think it went okay! They called me again to have me retake a test I didn’t do so well on, so my hope is that they’re really considering me if they’re giving me a second chance (since it’d be a waste of their time if they didn’t want me LOL)

excellent post and queer absolutely should be used on an academic/community level, but i’m gonna add that we should probably still be sensitive around our queer elders who were regularly called that. sure, many are fine with it, but there’s some who might be personally uncomfortable, so like. don’t be a dick if an individual human is not comfortable with repeatedly being called ‘queer’ in conversation, y’know?

Yeah, of course :o Individual experiences MUST be respected, and even more when put into the context of the times these elders lived through. Or, hell, with the youngsters who don’t like the word as well, sure. My entire beef with this issue is with “Queer Is A Slur” as a regressive, monolithic statement that’s meant to forbid the entire LGBTQ+ community from using it ever again, as if the last 30 years didn’t mean a thing.
