“You look like you could use a refresher.”
The pinkette perks his head up and sees you setting a fresh cup of coffee on the table for him, making sure not to spill any on his papers. “Oh, you startled me.”
While you take a seat across from him, Koby gives a light, appreciative smile and is quick to grab it for a little sip.
“Thank you.. Garp gave me his workload, so I have to finish these reports by the morning..” Koby slouches over on the table, exhaling out as his blue glasses fell down to his nose. “As you can see.. I’m, nowhere near finished.”
You laugh at his exhaustion, finding it cute as he sends a bashful smile when he hears you.
Reaching your arm across the table, you take half of his stack and peer at the papers, taking an extra pen of his and began to write.
“W-What are you doing?” Koby panics when you start writing, waving his hands frantically. He didn’t want to make you, a fellow navy and friend, and perhaps tiny crush, doing his work for him.
“No worries, Koby. The old man is hard on you, you have a lot to get through. Let me help, okay?” Your sweet smile causes him flush as he sees your determine expression to get the paperwork done.
Koby pushes up his glasses onto his eyes and smiles in defeat. “..okay. Thank you, Ruki.”
“You’re welcome, Koby.” You smile back warmly and nod, writing on the paper with him in a comfortable silence, enjoying each other’s company.

So sorry for the delay!! There’s a couple more coffee shops to get through so it’s difficult to think of many stuff yk?
