I know I have become exceptionally bad at making proper posts if it's not any reblogs or my art or anything but!

It just hit my brain that the next east asian zodiac in the circle is the year of the snake. So next year is the year of the snake, and you all know which character is associated witht he snake, right? Yes, you're right Hua Binan from 2ha / The Husky and His White Cat Shizun. So next year we have all good excuses to draw more of Hua Binan! And ShiMei of course, although, honestly you never need an excuse to draw ShiMei, I mean he's pretty right?

Art-upload marathon towards 2024

Hi dear followers and friends! I'm happy to boast and announce that I will update my art blog until all the recent art of this year is updated. Since I really want to put up my final painting of 2023 online tomorrow.

And also, I'm thinking about making a new pfp for this blog since the current one is ... I think it's almost ten years old x'D

I started my vacations today :D

I'm waiting for my e-bike to arrive since my working way gets longer from September (changing positions). And I'm going to Germany on Wednesday since my younger half brother is going to marry his girlfriend.

I know I have again neglected this blog for a while, but a lot happened so lemme sum that shit up soon :3

Happy new year everyone :3

So, after this very eventful year of 2022, we now start into 2023. If you are wondering, I have been adulting soo much in 2022. There were so many things happening, really worth a year of the Tiger-year like last year.

So, what exactly happened here? First, I was waiting to receive my grade for my master's thesis in Library and Information Science - about Scientific Dissemination at academic libraries in Norway. And you know what? I passed and got my master's degree. However, another very at first panicking, but then challenging and motivating thing was that my university where I took the master's invited me to contribute with a 15 minutes long presentation about the thesis at the anual national conference of Norwegian libraries. So after like three days of wild panicking I agreed to that and held this presentation in March, I think. About 1 month after the desastrous war stat a nasty leader started in another European country. But that, I think I won't mention too often. I was just very happy that most of my Ukrainian friends made it safely to other countries - also some of my contacts that I didn't even know where from the Ukraine by that point - because y'know this is the internet, we don't always talk about where we live. But do you know what all this graduating from University means!? This year was the first one I wasn't connected to a university as a student since... 2009. Hell. I have been a student since 2009 x'D But you don't get 2 bachelor's and one master's done in 5 years while you're also working full time - sooooh.

On another note: I finally switched citizenships. This was on my list for quite a few years, but the pandemic and my master studies I never had the chill to deal with the bureaucracy AND it wasn't even possible to do what they all asked for x'D THey were locked down as well haha x'D But I started the procedure on January handed in my stuff in May and in July I got the message that I am now a citizen of the country I am living in and yeah. All ties cut with Germany and that feels very well.

Last but not least. I got my own apartment after many, many years of savings and working very hard this. Like... really hard. I have to say that yes, the economy is hard, but still, it is worth it.

Only one thing left to say: Happy New year everyone. I hope 2023 will be calmer for me and that it won't be so many conflicts in this world. Damn on a global basis 2022 has been a hellish year. But let's not think about this too much.

My vacations are starting *w*;

Yes friends, finally, my vacations are starting! Today was my last day of work for the year 2022! And I am happy about it since the past half year was so busy and troublesome. I'll try to relish this as much as I can! The good thing is also that I got a few artsy things for myself, so I can work on different kinds of things, both clay things and paper things x'D

For instance, I also have got Posca pens for the first time! I'm very curious and only got them because they're a standart deal at my favourite art store if you're a member. So I finally can try them, because then I will be able to use my transparent shrink plastic to make some key chains.

I should honestly do some more illustrations again. But we'll see what I'll do during my vacations. I also want to meet some friends and I really want to read a lot. I'm currently waiting for my copy of MDZS vol. 4. If that arrives during next week, then I will start reading that immediately. If it doesn't arrive during next week, I will start re-reading 2ha >w< Because! I really miss Mo Ran and Chu Wanning >O
