Regrann from @christinejoylucksarno - Once upon a time, I HATED being on video. I could speak with passion and ease to an in person audience, but the moment a camera was pointed at me, I’d break out in a sweat and completely lose it. Sending a heartfelt shoutout to @psjackie and @jeffmacdougall11 who I fondly call the “Senseis of Video Masterclassing.” Husband and wife duo with an extensive background in television, creative, marketing and production - they are the gurus to enlist to help you overcome the anxiety and authentically connect through a glass lens to your audience...and have fun while doing it. • • • Video credit @jeffmacdougall11 ____________________________________ #workingmom #singlemom #goaldigger #wingwoman #successdriver #salesleader #salescoaching #businessstrategy #careerstrategy #careergoals #csuite #strategista #strategist #moverandshaker #rulemaker #hustledaily #bosslady - #regrann

The point is, there’s no reason to lose your cool or circle back with the client from a place of anger or frustration. These situations may actually translate into facilitating and accelerating strong relationships based on how you handle them. Keep UNDERSTANDING and PROFESSIONALISM in your hip pocket always.• • • ____________________________________ #workingmom #singlemom #goaldigger #wingwoman #successdriver #salesleader #salescoaching #businessstrategy #careerstrategy #careergoals #csuite #strategista #strategist #moverandshaker #rulemaker #hustledaily #bosslady
A Response to Chapter 3
This week we read Chapter 3 of Typographic Design: Form and Communication. The main point of this chapter is legibility and how to achieve it in design. The three main principles of creating text with good legibility are type size, line length, and interline spacing. From these three principles we can establish three rules of thumb for optimal legibility.
The first rule of thumb: Keep type size between 9 and 12 point. These type sizes preserve the patterns that exist within words. The preservation of these patterns is crucial because they make the characters and combinations of characters recognizable to the readers (54). This type size rule is an important thing for designers to remember because it would be inappropriate to use large type size for body copy and small type size for headlines; it could lead to visual and hierarchal confusion for the viewer. It is our job to attract eyeballs, not confuse and harm them.
The second rule of thumb: Keep line length between 6 and 9 words per line. Lines of type that contain more than 9 words are harder to read because the reader is required to backtrack so much between each line (54). The readers are more likely to lose their place when the text is set in this way. Setting the line length to less than 6 words per line is also damaging to legibility. When there are only a few words per line, it is difficult to read because the sentences are so broken up. Breaking up sentences will ruin any type of flow that the writing might have. Let’s not make people speak like robots.
The third rule of thumb: Add 1 to 4 points of interline spacing to text type that is between 9 and 12 points (55). Interline spacing is vital to keeping good legibility because it gives the lines of type room to breathe. Lines of type that are too close together give our readers visual anxiety. Lines of type that are too far apart may give the reader too much negative space, making it difficult to visually connect the lines as one section. We must slightly liberate our lines of text, but never imprison them.

So what is your favorite part of Cabriel?
(I waited until I got home so I could answer this properly)
Everything about Cabriel is amazing, of course. My favorite part though, has to be just how beautiful it can be. Not just because they’re celestial beings, but because of how they would be with each other. They would be so caring and sensual with each other, and just love so much.
They would spend hours grooming eachothers wings and exploring eachothers vessels. They could stop time, and spend centuries together to make up for the millenias that were lost after Gabriel left.
OMG I’m having too many feels to continue, but you get my drift. lol I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH.
