Taking the flowers and box of chocolate, Alex stares at them for a moment before setting them down and throwing her arms around Rys. “It’s not cheesy or cliche, it’s sweet. And you’re only one day late, darling. Still, happy Valentine’s day, handsome.” With that she kisses him.
