I'm sorry! I'm not very comfortable writing for relationships where the emphasis and focus are on the age gap. Ik it's a huge appeal for his character, but I don't care much for it 💔💔.

Sorry, I’m not into ‘bat-cest’. I think shipping characters who are step-siblings in stories is pretty lame and insulting to the real thing. Even if in some series the brothers don’t like each other enough to see one another as siblings, everyone categorizes them as family.  

Here’s how I see the connections, for anyone wondering, since it varies a lot in canon.

Alfred is only a parental figure to Bruce, but he’s considered family

Bruce takes in ward Dick 

Bruce trains Barbra (not related)

Bruce takes in and adopts Jason

Bruce adopts Dick

Bruce takes in ward Tim and adopts him a long while after his parents die

Bruce trains Steph (not related)

Around the same time he adopts Tim, he takes in Cass, and later adopts her too

Talia drops Damian off at the manor

Bruce takes in Duke as a ward of sorts and is considered family, but refuses to be adopted
