The Rumblebees won the Campeones de Parejas this past Saturday in Gibsonville, NC, only for Los Ice Creams to cash in their second Golden Opportunity and steal those titles from underneath them. The glorious moment was all too fleeting for Solo Darling and Travis Huckabee, and tomorrow in Reading, PA, they’ll begin the slow climb to three points and yet another Campeones de Parejas opportunity. They find themselves against a team they defeated the “Hour of Power” in June: Hermit Crab and Cajun Crawdad. Things have changed since that bout, as Crab and Crawdad not only defeated former Campeones de Parejas the Throwbacks, but Hermit Crab won the Young Lions Cup. Will the crustaceans momentum continue and allow them to pick up their second point, or will the Rumblebees be more motivated than ever?
