And since far too many people in the twfp tag tend to take things out of context.... ....here's what I said: "Because IF Scott seriously self-harmed (which he didn’t) that would somehow NOT be a reason to at least question his qualification for a leadership position?" NOT saying that people with mental health issues can’t hold leadership positions or other responsible jobs, because they most definitely CAN….but if a person has mental health issues, they have to make sure that they can deal with those and with their responsibilities if they want to be successful.
And yeah, for certain jobs (here in Germany, it’s e.g. for working as a paramedic or a police officer or a fireman) you need a health certificate that says you are physically and mentally fit to do your job."
