— he would be the first to admit it - black jack had never seen, like, an actual... er... animal... person.. ( yeah, that’s how he’d say it ) in real life before.
( he was beginning to come to terms with the fact that where he came from was much more mundane than a sizable chunk of the residents here. )
but.. since they were there, and he’d already been staring - it would be rude not to strike up a conversation, at the very least. he finally made eye contact with the animalistic man - who was expectedly taller than him - and cleared his throat, deciding to just be honest about it all.
“ ah.. good afternoon. my apologies for being rude. to put it bluntly, i’ve never spoken to anyone like you before - if that makes sense? ”
