3 Have Noticed The Stars
Nocturne was paranoid on the best of days, and today was not one of them. He'd been jumpy- more so than usual- and had chosen to leave the Observant's noisy headquarters in search for some peace and quiet. That had been a great idea at first, but not so much now.
He was lost. The young ghost had no idea where he was or how he'd gotten there. This was just his luck, wasn't it? There wasn't even anyone here to ask where he was- at least, he thought there wasn't.
The starry ghost bit his lip. Had he just heard someone- or something- nearby? He wasn't sure, but the thought was enough to make him tremble. Nocturne's tentacles writhed in distress as he looked around.
"+" ((Good luck :) ))
(( Oh this is easy! Rules. Just ask askphantomclockwork! If someone states a set of rules, I cannot physically bring myself to disobey. I also mimic enforcing them, and, when I have the trust of whomever makes said rules (teachers, namely) I can bend and twist them to my liking. I’m not afraid to do a little dirty work to get someone punished for breaking the rules- be them official or my rules.
Kids at school actually took to calling me the ‘Mob Boss of _schoolname_’ because of that little manipulative trait. ))
run-awaydannyphantom replied to your post: “Well…”He had to think a moment, as the days had turned almost into a blur. “I really enjoy it there, and it is a safe place to be at the moment.” His eyes briefly darkened at the idea of danger, but lightened to give her the rest of the story. “As for how long I’ve been staying with her… ‘Bout as many days since I’ve last seen you. I found her sometime shortly after I came and visited you.”
Chris smiled knowingly. “Yeah, she has that odd way about knowing what you need when you need it. You know, if you need an unbiased third party on something, I’m always ready to listen.”
She is, it's a lovely talent to ha--
..."Unbiased third party"? Er, what rumors have you been hearing what would prompt such an offer? --N-not to say I don't appreciate it! I do, I really do, because any person willing to listen makes for a good friend, which I feel we will be anyhow, but... wh-why are you asking, exactly? *nervous*
"Well..."He had to think a moment, as the days had turned almost into a blur. "I really enjoy it there, and it is a safe place to be at the moment." She’s smiling brighter. “That’s good. I was afraid you would be alone too long, and I felt bad that I couldn’t offer a place myself. Still, I’m glad you feel safe there, and enjoy it, because I personally always find Alyss good company to keep. She’s helped me a few times before, in fact. Late at night, usually, when it suits her, and oddly, when I needed it. She’ll be the same for you, I’m sure.”
"I'm doing great!" He was nearly bouncing in his excitement. "I already found someone to stay with. Her name is Alyss, have you met her?"
“Oh!! That’s wonderfully good news to hear! And yes, I do know her! She seems rough around the edges, but she’s actually a great gal, and a friend of mine. I’m so happy to hear she offered you a place to stay. How do you like living with her so far, and how long has it been?”
A young man was walking by the house he had last seen Audrey. When he got there, he hesitantly walked up to the door and knocked. He easily slid onto his face a smile, as he could not wait to tell Audrey the news.
When she answers the door, she beams at him. “Oh! Hello! Long time no see. How are you?”
