He looked stunned at the younger Nocturne. ‘Well…. I definitely wasn’t expecting that….’ “Oh, sorry…. I was kinda dimension travelling, so I mistook you for an elder version of yourself. Sorry… heh.” He rubbed the back of neck in embarrassment.

"Dimension traveling?" Nocturne echoed, his quiet voice bordering something between annoyance and curiosity. He'd heard of that before, actually. It was a common topic amongst some of the ghosts his age, and, every once in a while, the Observants. "Elder version... of myself?" the starry ghost watched him for a moment, a look that said 'you must be nuts' set firmly on his facial features.

Chris had taken the day off to go looking around the dimensions, and ended up in a Ghost Zone. He looked around happily, since he had been looking for one, for AGES. He flew about, before glancing off to the right. He noticed that a familiar ghost was floating nearby, and decided to make his presence known beyond the whoops of joy he had been making.

“Hi,” he called to the starry figure. “What are you doing out here Nocturne?”

The starry ghost just about jumped out of his sparkly skin when he was called to, immediately bolting behind a nearby rock. After a second or two, he poked his head from behind it. That voice hadn't been hostile, but it certainly hadn't been familiar either. Neither was the figure looking at him.

Angered that he'd been humiliated in such a manner, Nocturne slithered out from behind the rock and growled.

"Don't do that!" he hissed in a hushed voice. "I can't stand loud noises! Who are you anyways? ...How do you know me?"

3 Have Noticed The Stars

Nocturne was paranoid on the best of days, and today was not one of them. He'd been jumpy- more so than usual- and had chosen to leave the Observant's noisy headquarters in search for some peace and quiet. That had been a great idea at first, but not so much now.

He was lost. The young ghost had no idea where he was or how he'd gotten there. This was just his luck, wasn't it? There wasn't even anyone here to ask where he was- at least, he thought there wasn't.

The starry ghost bit his lip. Had he just heard someone- or something- nearby? He wasn't sure, but the thought was enough to make him tremble. Nocturne's tentacles writhed in distress as he looked around.
