Two objectively funny things happened.

The first is that I've been playing Elden Ring a lot lately. Level 217 (I think) and gonna fight prime consort radahn soon, but I'm upgrading a weapon. It's dryleaf's arts or whatever, I wanna do the funny kick thing to enemies. Anyways, to fully upgrade things with Smithing Stones you need 12 of each stone and the Ancient Dragon. I bought 12 of each, but I think it ended up costing around 700000+ runes. Like, it was insane, I had to use rune talismen and the horn thingy from the DLC, it took so long just to buy 12 of each. Then I discovered.

I was buying somber smithing stones. I bought 12 of each type of somber smithing stone. That's why it cost SO FUCKING MUCH.

The second funny thing to happen is that my immediate reaction was "Man, gotta post this on tumblr! It'll do ROUNDS!"
