Day 3: "No Order 66 AU"

Guys.

The story of this fanart....

Back in 2023, one of the servers I was on caught (sparked?) the crechemaster!Obi-Wan fever.

I read by the following acts committed, and chewed on it.

In 2024, one of @jedijune prompt was "music" and I really wanted to do a fanart of Obi-Wan playing space-gottan. Not enough time.

Then one of @codywanweek prompt was "Crechemaster!Obi-Wan". So I was determined to make a crechemaster!Obi-Wan playing space-gottan to his kids and Cody would be involved somehow.

My love for and desire to draw the Room of a Thousand Fountains got mixed in. Started but could not finish it in time.

Since then, I have been working on it on and off. I have asked @cacodaemonia for her opinion and help a million times. Her patience with me cannot be overstated. I was wriggling my hands like crazy. I wanted to finish it for @codywanweek 2025.

Then I saw the prompts of this year but none seemed to fit. Tragedy. @thesunlikehoney was the one who kindly pointed out it was actually a "No Order 66", if it was supposed to be a happy AU where nothing bad happened to them and they had a happy ending.

The mods of @codywanweek were very kind to accept this "recycling" and my questions about it.

My apologies to @jedijune for finishing a year too late. At least you've got to see what became of that prompt?

Obi-Wan is wearing an obi in the colors of his little pantoran to make him feel like he belongs because the poor little guy is the only one who doesn't fit the color scheme of the clan.

This is a True Disney Princess Moment where our hero falls in love at the princess's first song. Yes. I am unrepentant about that one.

Then Obi-Wan discovers Cody has a lovely voice too! Since it's a happy AU, there will be many more opportunities for them to sing together 😉

Cody loves the Room of a Thousand Fountains and never wants to leave. Obi-Wan is happy to oblige. His clan allows it. He makes a good climbing tree.

Clones in the creche

You cannot tell me there wouldn't be clones who fistfight eachother to just be able to help around the creche

The creche masters have to make rotating lists so that everyone can get their turn and stop the fistfights

The younglings would absolutely climb over the clones like kittens

Many clones have lost hair and gained grey hairs from younglings doing reckless things like jumping from balconies and just hiding around the temple

Clones who feel everything they do is worth it when they hear the youngling's laughs when they pull them over to play

Shinies who experience for the first time what being a child should be like when they get to play with the younglings

Older clones who prefer taking care of the babies

Older clones who have to fight tears when they see their younger vod experience a scrap of the childhood none of them could have

Older clones who find solace in caring for the younglings in the way they couldn't care for their younger vods

So when the clones take the jedi there is less of a fighting chance when the younglings are easily tricked by the clones who they trust

The youngest ones are the easiest when clones like Wolfee, Waxer, Stone, Hound just know how to handle them

The masters who had run to retrieve them find the children fast asleep with Wolfee cradling one, the masters go down easily

The oldest younglings aren't as easily fooled, running and trying to get out of the temple, but the thing is that their routes are known by the shinies they would invite to play

They don't get far before being surounded by their friends trying to coax them into calming down to come with them

Some take the offered hands while others have to be stunned

Regardless they all will wake up far away from Coruscant
