My practice has for many years now involved a few different approaches. As an example this altar layout for scrying includes: An Icelandic rune charm to gain hidden knowledge from the universe. Mirror and scrying bowl, labradorite and kyanite. Dried dandelion root and a yew twig from the grove back in England. Palo santo and a candle to help focus.
