☘Collecting Dew💦
This is an intoxicating practice I do quite often. In the foggy mornings it feels like you might be the only one awake, and the earth is paying attention to you. It is a conversation.
materials:
a small, clean and absorbent cloth
a clean bowl, preferably wood or glass
Clothes you can get sorta yucky
An intention associated with dew collection
A vessel for your finished product

wake up early, 5-6:30am. Have some water and dress warmly. Go outside and take a deep breath, notice your surroundings and the sounds going on around you. Kneel down and feel the wet grass and the earth beneath you. Begin the conversation.
Take your cloth and begin dabbing it in the grass, keeping your intention in mind, collecting up the dew, and wring it out in your bowl. When you have the desired amount dab up some more and wring it out back unto the earth and thank her for her gift.
Go back inside and strain/boil your water if there is a lot of debris in it or if you use chemicals in your yard. Despite the general purity of dew this is a precautionary measure that I would reccomend. Pour it into your vessel and hold it in your hands, meditating on your intention and allowing it to be held inside, seeping into every atom of water.

I use dew water for beauty and peace. Taking a clean makeup pad i use just for dew or a wash cloth and massage it onto your face as something to incorporate into your skincare routine. I have also rinsed my hair with it, and just poured it all over myself before or after a bath. Because it makes me feel like a fairy.🧚🏼♀️
